Can the concept of Jubilee reshape our modern understanding of economic justice and spiritual liberation? This episode promises to unravel the profound implications of Jesus’ declaration in Luke 4 by tracing its roots to the Old Testament celebration of Jubilee as detailed in Leviticus 25. We'll explore the intricate calendars observed by the Jewish people, including the annual feasts and the 50-year Jubilee cycle, and how these ancient traditions prophesied Jesus’ mission.

Join us as we explore the economic dimensions of the Jubilee, a time when debts were canceled, and property was restored to its original owners. This episode dives deep into the transformative impact of these practices, discussing how lending behaviors shifted and drawing parallels to today's financial systems like mortgages and repossessions. We'll also discuss the practice of indentured servitude versus slavery within this ancient context, emphasizing God’s ultimate ownership of the land as part of His covenant with Abraham.

Finally, we explore the enduring value of tangible assets compared to the fleeting nature of electronic money through a biblical lens. This episode will highlight the spiritual implications of the concept of divine repossession, especially through the lens of Pentecost as a Jubilee. Discover how God's reclaiming of His people, symbolized by the Holy Spirit’s indwelling, signifies a new era of spiritual liberation. We’ll reflect on the ultimate union with God, celebrating Pentecost as the New Testament Jubilee that brings everlasting freedom and divine possession through Jesus’ ministry.

00:00:00.462 --> 00:00:00.702
Well.

00:00:00.722 --> 00:00:02.448
Praise the Lord, hallelujah.

00:00:02.448 --> 00:00:29.986
Let's turn to Luke, the fourth chapter, and I'm going to take away from what we've been studying about how the Spirit of the Lord raises up a standard, because the Lord dealt with me in this past week about something that I had not brought to your attention when we were talking about last words.

00:00:29.986 --> 00:00:40.134
We were talking about last words shortly after resurrection and Palm Sunday and those weeks, and we ended up in the fourth chapter of the book of Luke.

00:00:40.134 --> 00:01:04.468
Up in the fourth chapter of the book of Luke where Jesus said the spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, the recovery of sight to the blind, to heal the broken hearted, bind up their wounds.

00:01:04.468 --> 00:01:07.379
Praise God, to heal the brokenhearted, bind up their wounds.

00:01:07.379 --> 00:01:25.081
Praise God, proclaim liberty to the captives and the recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are oppressed, and to preach the acceptable year of the Lord, hallelujah, the acceptable year of the Lord, hallelujah.

00:01:25.081 --> 00:01:45.322
And what I want to emphasize in this verse that the Lord brought to my, brought me to see, is what Jesus did, jesus.

00:01:45.322 --> 00:01:55.730
This scripture was quoted by Jesus shortly after he came back from the River Jordan and being 40 days and 40 nights in the wilderness.

00:01:55.730 --> 00:02:17.122
And he began to preach in Nazareth and he quoted this scripture and I believe he quoted this scripture often as he ministered, but he quoted this at the beginning of his ministry because this was going to be a cornerstone of what his ministry was about.

00:02:18.544 --> 00:02:20.828
Remember what we said about first words.

00:02:20.828 --> 00:02:24.391
First words give a direction to things.

00:02:24.391 --> 00:02:27.661
First words give a basis for things.

00:02:27.661 --> 00:02:44.784
In other words, if you say I'm going to go to this place, well, it sets the direction in which you're going and it implies a purpose, unless you're just one of those people that just gets up and wanders off in some any old direction to any old place.

00:02:44.784 --> 00:02:51.687
If you get up and you move in a specific direction toward a specific place, you probably have a specific purpose in mind.

00:02:51.687 --> 00:03:03.687
Well, you can rest assured that for three and a half years, jesus had such a purpose, and I believe that it is summed up in these words, among others, that he spoke.

00:03:04.408 --> 00:03:28.115
And I believe that in these words there is such a direction and an imprinting of God upon his ministry that Jesus just walked out the steps of his destiny toward an end that had been decreed since before time began.

00:03:28.115 --> 00:03:41.972
And the real key to this is in the last part of this scripture, where it says that he was anointed by God.

00:03:41.972 --> 00:03:44.973
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed by God.

00:03:44.973 --> 00:03:50.385
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to proclaim the year the acceptable year of the Lord.

00:03:50.385 --> 00:04:08.056
Now we need to understand what that acceptable year is, and it is a lot of things and a lot of things that could be said about that that are valid, amen.

00:04:08.056 --> 00:04:21.839
But if you really want to understand what the acceptable year of the Lord is and understand what Jesus was talking about by quoting the prophet Isaiah, you have to go back beyond Isaiah.

00:04:21.839 --> 00:04:24.005
Beyond Isaiah, amen.

00:04:24.005 --> 00:04:44.072
Beyond David, beyond Samuel, beyond the judges, beyond Joshua, all the way back to Moses and in the book of Leviticus, the 25th chapter.

00:04:44.072 --> 00:04:50.894
So let's go there, amen.

00:04:50.894 --> 00:04:58.370
Are you ready for this Glory to God?

00:04:58.370 --> 00:04:59.331
Keep your finger there.

00:04:59.331 --> 00:05:05.817
In Luke, we may be going back there, amen, amen.

00:05:05.817 --> 00:05:10.802
Maybe going back there, amen.

00:05:10.802 --> 00:05:13.668
In Leviticus, the 25th chapter is the defining chapter about the celebration of Jubilee.

00:05:13.668 --> 00:05:17.454
Now let me just refresh your memories a little bit.

00:05:18.339 --> 00:05:27.274
The Jewish calendar was an annual calendar and in that calendar there were seven feasts were there not?

00:05:27.274 --> 00:05:37.829
There was the feast of Passover, there was the feast of unleavened bread, there was the feast of first fruits, there was the feast of Pentecost Amen.

00:05:37.829 --> 00:05:45.552
There was the feast of during the time of the day of atonement, there was the Feast of Tabernacles.

00:05:45.552 --> 00:06:05.012
There were things that happened throughout the year amen, and happened on an annual basis, and the men of Israel were expected to go to Jerusalem during one of the primary feasts, which was Passover, pentecost or Tabernacles, amen.

00:06:05.012 --> 00:06:07.920
Passover, pentecost or Tabernacles, amen.

00:06:07.920 --> 00:06:10.786
And we've all heard a thousand different messages about the significance of all those things.

00:06:11.247 --> 00:06:14.454
But then there was another calendar.

00:06:14.454 --> 00:06:25.411
Okay, there was the weekly calendar Count six days, and on the seventh day you rested.

00:06:25.411 --> 00:06:33.687
That was from sunset on Friday to sunset on Saturday, and on that day the people of God were to rest.

00:06:33.687 --> 00:06:50.269
This was in commemoration of what God did in creation and also having to do with how he brought them through the wilderness and took care of them with the manna and all of that, all right.

00:06:50.269 --> 00:06:55.112
So there was a six days of work, a seventh day of rest.

00:06:55.112 --> 00:06:57.105
That pattern happened.

00:06:57.185 --> 00:07:02.487
And then there were, through the year, there were other special feasts, but then there was another calendar.

00:07:02.487 --> 00:07:06.730
That calendar was a calendar of seven years.

00:07:06.730 --> 00:07:14.788
Hello, for six years the people of God worked.

00:07:14.788 --> 00:07:24.110
In the sixth year God would give them enough increase to last for three years.

00:07:24.110 --> 00:07:28.701
You think it's just a double year, but it's actually three years.

00:07:28.701 --> 00:07:44.348
Because it had to be the current year, it had to be the Sabbath year and had to be the first year of the next period of time, because they weren't allowed to sow until the beginning of the eighth year or the first year of the next seven-year cycle.

00:07:44.348 --> 00:07:55.853
Okay, so every seven years they had to repeat this cycle.

00:07:55.853 --> 00:07:56.838
They had to let the ground rest.

00:07:56.838 --> 00:08:03.007
They couldn't plant, they couldn't reap, they couldn't do anything.

00:08:03.007 --> 00:08:07.605
They had to trust God to provide, in the sixth year, enough to last them the sixth year, seventh year and eighth year.

00:08:07.605 --> 00:08:11.048
They repeated this every seven years.

00:08:12.201 --> 00:08:21.752
But then there was another calendar, and that's what we're going to read about in the 25th chapter of the book of Leviticus.

00:08:21.752 --> 00:08:33.571
That calendar was a 50 year calendar and it says in verse 8, and you shall count seven Sabbaths of years for yourself.

00:08:33.571 --> 00:08:38.005
Seven times seven years, how many is that?

00:08:38.005 --> 00:08:44.225
That's 49 years and the time of seven.

00:08:44.225 --> 00:08:46.932
See, the Lord didn't trust.

00:08:46.932 --> 00:08:47.916
He could just.

00:08:47.916 --> 00:08:50.163
He could just see people going.

00:08:50.163 --> 00:08:53.030
He said I'll take care of that.

00:08:53.030 --> 00:08:56.780
The time of seven Sabbaths of years shall be to you 49 years.

00:08:56.780 --> 00:09:05.671
So he had this period of seven Sabbaths of years made 49 years.

00:09:05.671 --> 00:09:17.369
Then, on the day of atonement of that 49th year, you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound.

00:09:17.369 --> 00:09:26.197
On the 10th day of the seventh month, on the day of atonement, you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land.

00:09:26.197 --> 00:09:39.537
Verse 10 says and you shall consecrate the 50th year and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to its inhabitants.

00:09:39.537 --> 00:09:50.609
Right there, proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants, is inscribed upon the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, pennsylvania.

00:09:50.609 --> 00:09:59.004
That's just a freebie.

00:09:59.004 --> 00:10:03.729
It shall be a Jubilee for you and each of you shall return to his family.

00:10:03.729 --> 00:10:28.559
This 50th year is a remarkable year because in this year God decreed how his people and his kingdom would be administered.

00:10:28.559 --> 00:10:33.379
Now let me just give you an example.

00:10:33.379 --> 00:10:39.048
Let's just say I borrowed money and let's just say well, the law says I couldn't.

00:10:39.048 --> 00:10:42.375
If I was the lender I couldn't charge interest.

00:10:42.375 --> 00:10:48.086
But you know, people did.

00:10:48.086 --> 00:10:56.966
And let's say the paying back of the loan was onerous and I couldn't really take care of it.

00:10:56.966 --> 00:11:07.101
So what's going to happen If I pass or, if I become unresponsible, my children are going to have to pick up the responsibility of that debt.

00:11:08.244 --> 00:11:17.011
Now, not only have I encumbered myself and my generation with debt, but I have encumbered subsequent generations with debt.

00:11:17.011 --> 00:11:18.817
What do you think they're going to do?

00:11:18.817 --> 00:11:21.043
They're going to go borrow money to pay for the debt.

00:11:21.043 --> 00:11:25.091
Don't look at me like you're so righteous.

00:11:25.091 --> 00:11:26.114
You would never do that.

00:11:26.114 --> 00:11:41.985
I mean, people borrow money to pay off credit cards all the time, usually by opening up another credit card which says there will be no interest charged on what do they call it?

00:11:41.985 --> 00:11:48.929
Transfers To pay off an existing credit card, but go buy something and you're going to pay 30%.

00:11:48.929 --> 00:11:51.707
What would they do?

00:11:51.707 --> 00:11:56.446
Hallelujah, what am I saying?

00:11:56.446 --> 00:12:11.412
If you don't, if something isn't done about debt, if something isn't done about debt, if something isn't done about debt in our culture, in our world, we're in big trouble.

00:12:11.412 --> 00:12:17.807
We are in more credit card debt right now than we've ever been.

00:12:19.681 --> 00:12:23.792
The nation is in this worst economic situation that it's ever been.

00:12:23.792 --> 00:12:32.206
There's only been one other time, and this was during World War two, when the nation actually borrowed more money than it produced.

00:12:32.206 --> 00:12:39.847
There's a number for that, you know the total debt versus the total GNP gross national product.

00:12:39.847 --> 00:12:41.451
When the debt exceeds what?

00:12:41.451 --> 00:12:45.767
When the country's debt exceeds what it's able to produce, you're in trouble.

00:12:45.767 --> 00:12:48.634
You can't pay back Amen.

00:12:48.634 --> 00:12:51.288
You can't sell enough stuff to pay back the loan.

00:12:51.288 --> 00:12:56.611
We haven't been in that situation since World War II, but we're in it now.

00:12:56.611 --> 00:12:59.159
Amen.

00:12:59.159 --> 00:13:04.826
Debt is a limiting thing.

00:13:04.826 --> 00:13:11.054
It stifles growth, it keeps you in poverty, it keeps you in bondage.

00:13:11.054 --> 00:13:22.121
Amen, and God knows this, but people don't Amen.

00:13:22.121 --> 00:13:24.567
So God said since this is not your kingdom, this is my kingdom and you are my people.

00:13:24.567 --> 00:13:27.854
Amen, I get to make the rules.

00:13:27.854 --> 00:13:31.488
And here's the rules Amen.

00:13:31.989 --> 00:13:34.453
Every 50 years, debts are canceled.

00:13:34.453 --> 00:13:38.842
This had such a profound effect.

00:13:38.842 --> 00:13:59.705
If you read the rest of the chapter, there are specific instructions in there about what happens if you need to borrow money or lend money and it's five years into the new Jubilee period or it's five years from the end of the Jubilee period terminating.

00:13:59.705 --> 00:14:08.765
You know, if you're close to the end of the Jubilee, people aren't going to want to lend money because what?

00:14:08.765 --> 00:14:10.831
In five years it's all going to be canceled.

00:14:10.831 --> 00:14:13.326
So they're not going to lend much money.

00:14:13.326 --> 00:14:19.482
They'll be more likely to lend it over here at the beginning, but it doesn't matter.

00:14:19.482 --> 00:14:23.633
Every 50 years, all debts are canceled.

00:14:23.633 --> 00:14:34.342
50 years, all debts are canceled.

00:14:34.363 --> 00:14:42.774
If you happened to mortgage your property during the 50 year period amen and you defaulted on your loan, what would happen today if that happened?

00:14:42.774 --> 00:14:49.605
If you went out and borrowed money to buy a house and you quit making your house payments, what would happen?

00:14:49.605 --> 00:14:54.292
The bank would come and repossess your property.

00:14:54.292 --> 00:15:01.650
You do understand this about loans, right?

00:15:01.650 --> 00:15:09.581
That when you borrow money, even though the house in the property in the.

00:15:09.581 --> 00:15:14.211
If you haven't figured this game out yet, I'm going to help you out.

00:15:14.211 --> 00:15:37.812
Okay, if you borrow money to buy, buy a house, okay, the only place that you own this house is on the tax records and that's so that they can tax you for living in the place that you're paying rent for, so that the banks don't have to pay the taxes because they actually own the house.

00:15:37.812 --> 00:15:43.488
Oh, you don't believe me.

00:15:43.488 --> 00:15:52.306
Try not paying your house payment and you're going to get a notice to what repossess.

00:15:52.306 --> 00:16:04.727
You can't repossess something that you do not own and they own that house all the way up to the day you pay it off.

00:16:07.519 --> 00:16:18.913
Hallelujah, now, in this country not every country, but in this country if you default at a certain period of time in the loan.

00:16:18.913 --> 00:16:34.105
Then the courts get involved and they decide how much equity you have in the property and they will repay you that amount, but not if I'm financing the loan.

00:16:34.105 --> 00:16:43.013
You won't Amen, because you can put a clause in your contract amen, that that doesn't happen.

00:16:43.013 --> 00:16:47.559
Amen.

00:16:47.559 --> 00:16:53.870
And in a lot of countries that's exactly what happens If you don't pay, you're out and you don't get a nickel Hallelujah.

00:16:53.870 --> 00:16:56.643
So all of these things, do you not?

00:16:56.643 --> 00:16:57.424
Do you not know that?

00:16:57.424 --> 00:16:58.648
God knows all these things?

00:16:58.648 --> 00:17:01.542
God knows all these things, amen.

00:17:02.202 --> 00:17:06.474
And he said every 50 years, we're going to wipe the deck, slate the clean.

00:17:06.474 --> 00:17:11.705
I am going to restore every property to its rightful owner.

00:17:11.705 --> 00:17:16.340
Every 50 years, doesn't matter, I've already canceled the debt.

00:17:16.340 --> 00:17:21.613
So since the debt is canceled amen you can't hold it over him that he can't pay.

00:17:21.613 --> 00:17:22.906
And since you can't hold it over him that he can't pay, I.

00:17:22.906 --> 00:17:27.743
And since you can't hold it over him that he can't pay, I'm going to take it away from you and give it to him.

00:17:27.743 --> 00:17:48.009
So, basically, in Israel's economy, instead of the bank owning the property and loaning money to cover the payments amen the owner of the property is renting the property or, reverse, renting the property to the bank.

00:17:48.009 --> 00:17:57.208
He's letting the bank use the property for whatever reason and at the end of the 50 years I'm going to get it back.

00:17:57.208 --> 00:18:02.688
This was because listen to me very carefully, I'm getting ahead of myself, but I'm going to go.

00:18:02.688 --> 00:18:03.692
I'll get back to that.

00:18:03.692 --> 00:18:03.913
Carefully.

00:18:03.913 --> 00:18:04.757
I'm getting ahead of myself, but I'm gonna.

00:18:04.757 --> 00:18:06.362
I'm gonna go, I'm gonna get, I'll get back to that.

00:18:07.705 --> 00:18:12.458
This had that not only to do with property.

00:18:12.458 --> 00:18:15.648
That had to do with things in our.

00:18:15.648 --> 00:18:19.300
In our case, what's the next biggest loan that you take out for a car?

00:18:19.300 --> 00:18:31.256
So at the, if you borrowed money on a car and you owe money on the car at the end of Jubilee, you get the car back.

00:18:31.256 --> 00:18:34.463
You get the car debt free, amen.

00:18:34.463 --> 00:18:38.782
And if it got repossessed, somehow, you get it back.

00:18:38.782 --> 00:18:39.806
Glory to God.

00:18:39.806 --> 00:18:41.651
This was true.

00:18:41.651 --> 00:18:54.542
You can hock your plow, you can hock the horses, you can do whatever you wanted to, but at the end of the Jubilee, all of these things had to be returned back to their rightful owner.

00:18:54.884 --> 00:19:00.394
This was especially important about property and possessions.

00:19:00.394 --> 00:19:05.446
Amen, because God looked at it this way.

00:19:05.446 --> 00:19:07.571
This land is not your land.

00:19:07.571 --> 00:19:10.208
I mean, you can sing the song as much as you want to.

00:19:10.208 --> 00:19:12.317
You know, this land is your land.

00:19:12.317 --> 00:19:13.641
You know this land is mine.

00:19:13.641 --> 00:19:16.163
No, it's not.

00:19:16.163 --> 00:19:18.046
Not in God's economy, it wasn't.

00:19:18.046 --> 00:19:21.210
This land is my land.

00:19:21.210 --> 00:19:30.958
Actually, it's mine and Abraham's land and the implications of that go way off the charts if you start to think about it.

00:19:30.958 --> 00:19:34.269
But it's because he made covenant with Abraham.

00:19:34.269 --> 00:19:37.007
He said go ahead, look as far as you can see.

00:19:37.007 --> 00:19:41.339
Hallelujah, praise God.

00:19:41.339 --> 00:19:46.962
Now one more thing and then we're going to get to some more interesting information.

00:19:48.065 --> 00:19:58.682
The other third major thing that happened was that if you had a servant or an indentured servant not a paid servant, but an indenture you want.

00:19:58.682 --> 00:20:07.454
An indentured servant is an indentured servant is how this country in the north got around slavery.

00:20:07.454 --> 00:20:13.290
They did not import slaves the way the south did.

00:20:13.290 --> 00:20:28.544
They imported indentured servants and they brought them over from Ireland, from England, from other places in Europe and they put them in contracts for 15, 20 years and they basically got no money.

00:20:28.544 --> 00:20:38.373
They got very little money and they got very little other than, you know, a place to sleep, some bare necessities to eat.

00:20:38.373 --> 00:20:45.049
But at the end of a certain period of time, contract was up and they were allowed to go free.

00:20:47.294 --> 00:21:02.170
Now do you not know that people who had people as indentured servants, would abuse them and they would do things like well, your contract never included all the food that you ate.

00:21:02.170 --> 00:21:12.508
So at the end of 15 years, when your contract is up, you still owe me another five years because of all the food you ate during the first 15 years, or something like that.

00:21:12.508 --> 00:21:16.632
Just some excuse to keep them in that situation.

00:21:16.632 --> 00:21:19.028
There would be big problems with that.

00:21:19.028 --> 00:21:23.109
There's all kinds of court cases and stuff that happen.

00:21:23.500 --> 00:21:31.411
But at least in the North at least in the North they had a system whereby people could walk away from it.

00:21:31.411 --> 00:21:33.761
That was not the case in the South.

00:21:33.761 --> 00:21:44.973
But the South made the case that the North was doing the same thing that the South was doing, with the exception of the end of contract leasing.

00:21:44.973 --> 00:21:46.666
They were buying and selling people.

00:21:46.666 --> 00:21:48.306
They would sell contracts.

00:21:48.306 --> 00:21:57.131
If I have a shoemaker and he's under contract and I want to sell his contract to another shoemaker, I can do that.

00:21:57.131 --> 00:22:00.103
Well, what is that?

00:22:00.103 --> 00:22:02.852
Amen.

00:22:03.519 --> 00:22:06.150
Anyway, in the Jewish economy they could do that.

00:22:06.150 --> 00:22:09.640
They could have servants that were bond servants.

00:22:09.640 --> 00:22:18.214
They could have other Jewish people that were in bondage to them through a work commitment.

00:22:18.214 --> 00:22:23.011
They were not allowed to enslave other Jews.

00:22:23.011 --> 00:22:33.422
They were not allowed to enslave other Jews, but they could enslave other people that they conquested or that they had interactions with, for example.

00:22:33.422 --> 00:22:34.586
Well, that doesn't apply.

00:22:34.586 --> 00:22:35.509
The law wasn't given.

00:22:35.509 --> 00:22:45.269
Anyway, joseph's brothers could sell him into slavery because the law wasn't given yet, amen.

00:22:45.269 --> 00:22:53.813
But normally you couldn't sell a Jew into slavery, you couldn't buy a Jew into slavery, but you could do that with other people.

00:22:53.813 --> 00:23:01.448
So you could have this situation where if you had enough money and you were rich, you could have slaves and you could have indentured servants.

00:23:01.448 --> 00:23:13.961
But at the end of Jubilee, slaves and you could have indentured servants, but at the end of Jubilee, every 50 years listen to this every 50 years, every slave and every indentured servant was set free.

00:23:13.961 --> 00:23:22.273
Can you imagine how much work got done in the last year before Jubilee?

00:23:22.273 --> 00:23:28.390
I mean that would be zero.

00:23:28.390 --> 00:23:31.019
I mean the guys would be sleeping out in the fields.

00:23:31.019 --> 00:23:32.724
I mean you can just imagine they.

00:23:32.724 --> 00:23:37.760
Not one lick of work was getting done, but that's alright.

00:23:37.840 --> 00:23:53.890
God had a plan to set and that's why it says proclaim liberty throughout all the land, to all of its inhabitants, because everybody that was in bondage was going to be set free.

00:23:53.890 --> 00:24:01.448
So you've got these three main things that happen at the year of Jubilee.

00:24:01.448 --> 00:24:16.672
Debts are canceled, possessions are restored and liberty is proclaimed and also restored, so there's freedom from all kinds of servitude.

00:24:16.672 --> 00:24:35.030
Now, there was a reason for this, and the reason for this is that God saw Israel as His people and he saw Canaan as His land.

00:24:35.030 --> 00:25:03.509
And he saw that when he restored Israel to Canaan, he allotted to them the properties, the sections that belong to each tribe, and then, within the tribes, those places were partitioned out to families and those families had a right to that land forever.

00:25:03.509 --> 00:25:11.471
Amen, because that was the way God did it.

00:25:12.701 --> 00:25:14.769
He said Ephraim, you're going to be here.

00:25:14.769 --> 00:25:16.165
Judah, you're going to be here.

00:25:16.165 --> 00:25:17.586
Benjamin, you're going to be here.

00:25:17.586 --> 00:25:20.526
Simon, you're going to be here.

00:25:20.526 --> 00:25:23.586
Reuben, you're going to be here.

00:25:23.586 --> 00:25:24.278
Dan, you're going to be here.

00:25:24.278 --> 00:25:25.009
Issachar, you're going to be here.

00:25:25.009 --> 00:25:25.140
Reuben, you're going to be here.

00:25:25.140 --> 00:25:25.230
Dan, you're going to be here.

00:25:25.230 --> 00:25:27.204
Issachar, you're going to be here.

00:25:27.204 --> 00:25:28.028
Do you remember all those?

00:25:28.028 --> 00:25:30.007
I mean, you've seen the maps.

00:25:30.007 --> 00:25:34.971
They were all divided out and within each section then each family had property.

00:25:34.971 --> 00:25:45.310
So since God had this property, it was important to him to maintain the allotments.

00:25:45.310 --> 00:25:56.054
It was important to him that somebody from Issachar didn't come up and buy up a third of Ephraim.

00:25:56.054 --> 00:26:00.423
Amen, this has happened.

00:26:00.423 --> 00:26:02.388
You can have guys from Georgia, men from Georgia, this has happened.

00:26:02.388 --> 00:26:08.205
You can have guys from Georgia, men from Georgia, this has happened.

00:26:08.205 --> 00:26:10.827
I'm not going to name names, but this has happened.

00:26:10.827 --> 00:26:28.046
Men from Georgia have gone to Montana and bought up hundreds of thousands of, not acres, but square miles, big chunks, I mean big chunks.

00:26:28.046 --> 00:26:32.326
They've got private airports, they've got you know, they just bought it up.

00:26:34.961 --> 00:26:38.643
Well, god didn't want that to happen, and so what he did?

00:26:38.643 --> 00:27:05.173
When he restored property to its rightful owner, he restored the boundaries and the subdivisions of each allotment to each tribe, so that, at the end of 50 years, ephraim possessed his possessions, dan possessed his possessions, manasseh possessed his possessions, judah possessed his possessions.

00:27:05.173 --> 00:27:08.319
Manasseh possessed his possessions, judah possessed his possessions.

00:27:08.319 --> 00:27:10.868
Are you hearing me?

00:27:10.868 --> 00:27:11.069
Amen.

00:27:11.069 --> 00:27:24.249
And at the end of 50 years, god would possess his possessions and it would all be restored back to the way it was when he gave it to them when they came across the River Jordan.

00:27:24.249 --> 00:27:28.105
Amen, after the end of their 40 years in the wilderness.

00:27:28.105 --> 00:27:30.913
Hallelujah, hallelujah.

00:27:32.881 --> 00:27:49.970
By canceling debts, he would make it so that no one could get super rich over generations, that no one could get super rich over generations and no one would become institutionally poor over generations.

00:27:49.970 --> 00:27:51.997
You know what I mean by that.

00:27:51.997 --> 00:28:01.898
If I'm allowed to loan money in perpetuity, amen, I'm going to get rich, amen.

00:28:01.898 --> 00:28:11.906
If I'm allowed to loan money with interest and people, and people trust me for that, I am going to make a lot of money, amen.

00:28:11.906 --> 00:28:22.109
And you know what, for every one person that gets that makes a lot of money, there's going to be a whole lot more people that become poorer and poorer and poorer.

00:28:22.109 --> 00:28:41.352
Because if you're listen to me, in this culture and in any culture I wish I could preach this Lord In any culture if you're not producing real wealth.

00:28:44.450 --> 00:28:51.144
Real wealth, real wealth, consists of earth and the things that are in the earth Gold and silver.

00:28:51.144 --> 00:28:53.786
What did God say?

00:28:53.786 --> 00:28:58.065
The hills are mine and the gold and the silver in the hills are mine.

00:28:58.065 --> 00:29:02.788
You know, you think, well, that's just a quaint way of talking about how things were back then.

00:29:02.788 --> 00:29:03.060
No, that's how real things is.

00:29:03.060 --> 00:29:04.991
You know, if you want to own something real, you think, well, that's just a quaint way of talking about how things were back then.

00:29:04.991 --> 00:29:05.184
No, that's how real things is.

00:29:05.505 --> 00:29:13.296
You know, if you want to own something real, you own gold, you own silver, you own some kind of a precious metal or you own dirt.

00:29:13.296 --> 00:29:29.560
You know, back in back in the day, when, when, when, people that had money did not trust banks Amen, banks, amen.

00:29:29.560 --> 00:29:38.241
They would bury their gold and silver in the dirt, or they would take the gold and silver and buy more dirt, because property was considered to be an asset and it was considered to be valuable.

00:29:38.241 --> 00:29:40.246
Amen, it was real.

00:29:40.246 --> 00:29:47.992
I mean, you could go out and put your hands in it and you know this stuff that we worry so much about, amen, it's just floating electrons.

00:29:51.519 --> 00:30:03.556
I could sit here all day long and talk to you about quantum physics and tell you that you can't possibly know where an electron is, amen.

00:30:03.556 --> 00:30:14.965
So if you want to go put your hands on all these electrons that you work and sweat over, amen, you can't do it, because wherever you reach out and put your hands, they're going to be someplace else.

00:30:14.965 --> 00:30:18.826
But it's not like that with dirt.

00:30:18.826 --> 00:30:22.288
You can go out there and get your hands and get it under your fingernails.

00:30:22.288 --> 00:30:23.151
You can carry it with you.

00:30:23.151 --> 00:30:26.484
It's all over your clothes and your shoes.

00:30:26.484 --> 00:30:33.502
Hallelujah, you know.

00:30:33.502 --> 00:30:36.190
You can say well, I can do that with paper money.

00:30:36.190 --> 00:30:36.811
No, you can't.

00:30:36.811 --> 00:30:45.126
Paper money is not redeemable on demand for gold or silver, like it was when I was a kid.

00:30:45.126 --> 00:30:50.530
I used to get dollar bills that said that you can't find, you can't get those anymore.

00:30:50.530 --> 00:30:56.010
What way to God, are you hearing anything I'm saying?

00:30:57.413 --> 00:31:13.311
And finally, if you can't hold people in perpetual poverty and you don't have the right to keep them in perpetual servanthood, then God can't equalize things every 50 years.

00:31:13.311 --> 00:31:19.488
Now, does that mean that in the next jubilee, there's not going to be people that are making money.

00:31:19.488 --> 00:31:22.645
There's not going to be people that are buying and selling into servanthood.

00:31:22.645 --> 00:31:25.191
There's not going to be people that are, that are buying and selling into service servitude.

00:31:25.191 --> 00:31:26.113
There's not going to be.

00:31:26.113 --> 00:31:29.143
Yes, sure, there are, but there's going to be an end to that.

00:31:29.143 --> 00:31:30.807
There's going to be a restoration.

00:31:30.807 --> 00:31:32.082
There's going to be a balancing.

00:31:32.082 --> 00:31:36.711
You don't have that kind of a balancing in a man-made system.

00:31:36.711 --> 00:31:37.993
Amen.

00:31:37.993 --> 00:31:44.755
Men are not interested in doing that and men can't figure out how to do it equitably.

00:31:44.755 --> 00:31:53.192
And so God took over the responsibility and just said okay, every 50 years, this is how it's going to be, amen.

00:31:53.759 --> 00:31:57.431
And you wonder what in the world does this have to do with Luke 4 and 18?

00:31:57.431 --> 00:32:04.929
I'm going to reread 4 and 18 to you.

00:32:04.929 --> 00:32:06.743
You can hear some of the.

00:32:06.743 --> 00:32:11.891
He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor.

00:32:11.891 --> 00:32:17.633
He has anointed me to heal the broken in spirit.

00:32:17.633 --> 00:32:23.220
He has anointed me to proclaim liberty to the captive.

00:32:23.220 --> 00:32:27.567
He has anointed me to proclaim liberty to the captive.

00:32:27.567 --> 00:32:40.160
He has anointed me to preach the recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are oppressed.

00:32:40.160 --> 00:32:52.420
So two out of the four are specific wordings out of what Jubilee is all about.

00:32:52.420 --> 00:32:57.451
And so the final thing is that he was anointed to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.

00:32:57.451 --> 00:33:01.611
What year do you think that might be?

00:33:01.611 --> 00:33:06.087
It is the year of Jubilee.

00:33:06.087 --> 00:33:19.772
It is the year that is acceptable to the Lord, because he puts everything back to right, back to the way it was Okay.

00:33:20.461 --> 00:33:53.813
Now we don't have a 50-year period in the New Testament called Jubilee, but we do have a 50-day period, and just like there were seven Sabbaths of years, there are seven Sabbaths of weeks following resurrection, and the 50th day is Pentecost.

00:33:53.813 --> 00:34:13.233
What God showed me is this that just as I repossessed my possessions in the year of Jubilee, in the day of Pentecost I repossessed my possessions.

00:34:13.233 --> 00:34:15.425
Oh, you didn't hear me.

00:34:15.425 --> 00:34:19.010
I repossessed my possessions.

00:34:19.010 --> 00:34:21.860
What did God do on the day of Pentecost.

00:34:21.860 --> 00:34:31.224
See, we get all fascinated that everybody spoke with other tongues and, and because of that, that's about all we we encourage people to do.

00:34:31.746 --> 00:34:57.106
But the fact of the matter is that on Pentecost, god repossessed his possessions when he sent your spirit here, amen, and you were confronted with Adam's sin and became disillusioned, deceived and dispossessed.

00:34:57.106 --> 00:35:11.809
God had to bring you, had to lead you, had to draw you to your Pentecost Amen, so that he could repossess you the way he had possessed you before.

00:35:11.809 --> 00:35:18.219
Hallelujah, god possessed his possessions.

00:35:18.219 --> 00:35:23.693
In the book of Obadiah it says that Jacob will possess his possession.

00:35:23.693 --> 00:35:39.726
I'm telling you what that God, on the day of Pentecost, started a process where he has begun to repossess those spirits that belonged to him, and he has brought them.

00:35:39.726 --> 00:35:45.581
See, we tend listen to me very careful, I am going gonna make this work.

00:35:47.547 --> 00:36:03.088
Jesus, when he came up out of the River Jordan, started a three and a half year March and and if I asked you where he was going in that March, you would say he was going to Calvary, amen.

00:36:03.088 --> 00:36:04.070
And indeed he was going to Calvary, amen.

00:36:04.070 --> 00:36:24.371
And indeed he was going to Calvary, but his march didn't stop at Calvary, amen, and it didn't stop at the resurrection and it didn't stop at the ascension, Because the ascension is only 40 days.

00:36:24.371 --> 00:36:50.268
There's nothing in your Bible about 40 days except sacrifice and fasting and floods, but there is something about 50 that has to do with a foretelling, a prophecy, in time and in Israel, of what God was going to do with his people.

00:36:50.268 --> 00:36:56.210
On the 50th day, on Pentecost, glory to God.

00:36:56.210 --> 00:37:00.931
What God possessed before time began.

00:37:02.295 --> 00:37:06.907
On that first Pentecost, he began the process of repossession.

00:37:06.907 --> 00:37:11.907
He repossessed his possessions.

00:37:11.907 --> 00:37:17.764
He repossessed his possessions Exactly what happened on the original Jubilees.

00:37:17.764 --> 00:37:20.545
He repossessed his possessions.

00:37:20.545 --> 00:37:35.005
He told Israel every 50 years I'm going to allow you to repossess your possessions and in doing that, because you are my people, I am repossessing what I originally gave you.

00:37:35.005 --> 00:37:37.681
God is doing the same thing with you.

00:37:37.681 --> 00:37:43.521
God is doing the same thing with every believer that he has filled with the Holy Ghost.

00:37:43.521 --> 00:37:44.646
Amen.

00:37:44.646 --> 00:37:49.364
He is repossessing what he previously possessed.

00:37:49.364 --> 00:37:51.088
Amen.

00:37:51.434 --> 00:37:55.342
It's not that you were lost, it's not that you know he didn't know where you were.

00:37:55.342 --> 00:37:57.702
It's just you didn't know who you were.

00:37:57.702 --> 00:38:00.800
You didn't know.

00:38:00.800 --> 00:38:09.342
You bought the lie that Adam's crew tried to sell you that you're just an accident of birth.

00:38:09.342 --> 00:38:10.780
You just showed up.

00:38:10.780 --> 00:38:21.547
You were lost and undone without God and his son, amen, and God found you, or you found God, or however the denominational spin is on that.

00:38:21.547 --> 00:38:25.831
Amen, and you just kind of slipped into the kingdom by the skin of your teeth.

00:38:25.851 --> 00:38:31.373
Amen, and you just kind of slipped into the kingdom by the skin of your teeth.

00:38:31.373 --> 00:38:38.224
The fact of the matter is that you have always been part of the kingdom and he has always possessed you and you were always his.

00:38:38.224 --> 00:38:54.108
He just sent you here, amen, to do his destiny here by walking in your flesh, just the way he walked in Jesus' flesh, hallelujah.

00:38:54.108 --> 00:38:58.780
Since Jesus did it that way, you have to do it that way.

00:38:58.780 --> 00:39:04.340
You don't get to make the decision Well, I'd rather stay in heaven.

00:39:05.500 --> 00:39:06.288
You don't get to stay in heaven.

00:39:06.288 --> 00:39:06.793
You don't get to make it.

00:39:06.793 --> 00:39:07.315
Stay in heaven.

00:39:07.315 --> 00:39:09.380
You get to come here.

00:39:09.380 --> 00:39:13.190
You get to get repossessed, amen.

00:39:13.190 --> 00:39:34.887
And you get to walk through the joy of knowing oh glory to God, hallelujah that he loves you so much that he never wants to be separated from you, not even by the membrane of skin.

00:39:34.887 --> 00:39:38.923
That's too much of a barrier.

00:39:38.923 --> 00:39:46.568
See, that's the problem with people who claim a Holy Ghost that is with them.

00:39:46.568 --> 00:39:52.023
I'm here to tell you today that that's too much of a barrier, that's too far.

00:39:52.023 --> 00:39:53.869
He doesn't want to be with you.

00:39:53.869 --> 00:39:55.072
He wants to be in you.

00:39:55.072 --> 00:39:58.239
He doesn't want to whisper suggestions in your ear.

00:39:58.239 --> 00:40:03.458
He wants to give commands and directions amen, that he executes in you.

00:40:03.458 --> 00:40:07.206
He doesn't oh, he shot up, he.

00:40:07.206 --> 00:40:11.740
He doesn't want to have the separation even of one thought.

00:40:11.740 --> 00:40:14.541
He wants to totally possess you.

00:40:15.657 --> 00:40:17.344
I want to be known by everybody.

00:40:17.344 --> 00:40:18.880
I want the devil to know it.

00:40:18.880 --> 00:40:21.744
I want to be possessed by a spirit.

00:40:21.744 --> 00:40:29.103
Just so happens that it's the spirit of the living God, amen, and not one of your cheap imitations.

00:40:29.103 --> 00:40:32.244
I want to be possessed by God.

00:40:32.244 --> 00:40:35.304
I want God to possess this possession.

00:40:35.304 --> 00:40:40.126
I want God to take over and take control, amen, amen.

00:40:40.126 --> 00:40:46.668
I want a perpetual jubilee going on in this temple, hallelujah.

00:40:46.668 --> 00:40:55.775
I want the trumpet to be proclaiming liberty from the top to the bottom of this country, this temple, this vessel, hallelujah.

00:40:55.775 --> 00:41:10.422
And I want him to possess this vessel to such a degree that no other spirit will even entertain molesting this spirit.

00:41:10.422 --> 00:41:13.987
Hallelujah.

00:41:15.349 --> 00:41:28.222
See, we want a lot of Christianity, wants to believe that we're going to go back to Eden, that we're going to live in, that God's going to restore this planet to Eden level and we're all going to live in Eden as the new heaven.

00:41:28.222 --> 00:41:28.965
And I said what?

00:41:28.965 --> 00:41:29.445
Where do you?

00:41:29.445 --> 00:41:30.157
Where is that?

00:41:30.157 --> 00:41:31.623
Possibly in your Bible?

00:41:31.623 --> 00:41:44.650
The last time I checked, he put an angel at the gate and said no trespassing Amen, because he's not.

00:41:44.650 --> 00:41:52.621
He has not recreated you and set you free in this New Testament jubilee called Pentecost.

00:41:53.322 --> 00:41:56.208
Amen To go back to Eden, amen.

00:41:56.208 --> 00:41:57.429
Oh glory to God.

00:41:57.429 --> 00:42:03.266
He created what he created in Eden, in Adam.

00:42:03.266 --> 00:42:07.286
He has now recreated in Christ, in him.

00:42:07.286 --> 00:42:11.483
We're not going to Eden, we're going to him, amen.

00:42:11.905 --> 00:42:12.728
I got news for you.

00:42:12.728 --> 00:42:20.485
You're probably not even going to heaven, you're going to him, and you don't want it to be any other way.

00:42:20.485 --> 00:42:27.706
If you're going to be in him forever, why would you want to be someplace else that he created?

00:42:27.706 --> 00:42:31.722
Heaven is a created place.

00:42:31.722 --> 00:42:42.699
See, I think the purpose of heaven is not so much so that you can live there, it's so that earth can be transformed by its presence.

00:42:42.699 --> 00:42:53.282
The Bible says that the heavenly Jerusalem is coming down and it is going to transform this earth into that image.

00:42:53.282 --> 00:43:08.090
Now we may be in that place, but only if that place is in Him, because I guarantee you that you can check it out.

00:43:08.090 --> 00:43:13.885
I mean, we are going to be in him forever, hallelujah.

00:43:13.885 --> 00:43:16.730
Why?

00:43:16.730 --> 00:43:17.090
Why?

00:43:17.090 --> 00:43:17.731
Why be?

00:43:17.731 --> 00:43:18.393
Why?

00:43:18.393 --> 00:43:21.518
Because he has possessed his possession.

00:43:21.518 --> 00:43:23.541
He's not going to give it up.

00:43:24.182 --> 00:43:29.309
The baptism in the Holy Ghost was all about God repossessing what was His.

00:43:29.309 --> 00:43:35.420
And if he's going to repossess what is His, he is not going to let it go.

00:43:35.420 --> 00:43:41.702
Hebrews 13 and 5 says that I'll never leave you, I'll never forsake you, I'll never release my grip on you.

00:43:41.702 --> 00:43:43.601
I can't do it and I won't do it.

00:43:43.601 --> 00:43:49.742
That's just not happening, glory to God.

00:43:49.742 --> 00:43:50.704
Aren't you glad for that?

00:43:50.704 --> 00:43:51.568
I'm glad for that.

00:43:51.568 --> 00:44:04.306
If there was physical liberty at Pentecost, the slaves went free, the servants went free, debts went free.

00:44:04.306 --> 00:44:14.286
If there was physical liberty in Jubilee, how much more is there real liberty in Pentecost?

00:44:16.137 --> 00:44:19.405
Where the Spirit of the Lord is?

00:44:19.405 --> 00:44:23.163
Now you got two scriptures.

00:44:23.163 --> 00:44:26.563
We're going to tie them together, okay.

00:44:26.563 --> 00:44:34.244
2 Corinthians 3.17 and Luke 4 and 19.

00:44:34.244 --> 00:44:36.228
4 and 18.

00:44:36.228 --> 00:44:46.202
The Spirit of the Lord is how this and the other verse says where the Spirit of the Lord is.

00:44:50.056 --> 00:44:55.784
Luke 4 and 18 says the Spirit of the Lord is no, that's 4 and 18.

00:44:55.784 --> 00:44:59.175
Where the Spirit of the Lord yeah.

00:44:59.175 --> 00:45:02.842
4 and 18 says the Spirit of the Lord is upon me.

00:45:02.842 --> 00:45:11.737
And where the Spirit of the Lord is there is what Liberty.

00:45:11.737 --> 00:45:13.242
Where is the Spirit of the Lord?

00:45:13.242 --> 00:45:14.125
Is there is what Liberty?

00:45:14.125 --> 00:45:14.786
Where is the Spirit of the Lord?

00:45:14.786 --> 00:45:15.108
He's upon Jesus.

00:45:15.108 --> 00:45:19.280
Where has Jesus sent the Spirit of the Lord to be here?

00:45:19.280 --> 00:45:22.630
Who is the Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of Jesus?

00:45:22.630 --> 00:45:26.467
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, where is the Spirit of the Lord is.

00:45:26.467 --> 00:45:27.211
Where is the Spirit of the Lord?

00:45:27.211 --> 00:45:28.338
It's on Jesus, it's in Jesus.

00:45:28.338 --> 00:45:30.577
It is Jesus, amen.

00:45:31.260 --> 00:45:32.679
What is that Spirit of the Lord doing?

00:45:32.679 --> 00:45:35.481
He's proclaiming liberty, and where is he proclaiming it?

00:45:35.481 --> 00:45:38.619
In the possession that he repossessed.

00:45:38.619 --> 00:45:41.782
You need to hear me and you need to hear me clearly.

00:45:41.782 --> 00:45:44.257
God is shouting from the rooftops.

00:45:44.257 --> 00:45:46.597
He is shouting as loud as he can.

00:45:46.597 --> 00:45:47.842
You are free.

00:45:47.842 --> 00:45:52.099
You are free to be me.

00:45:52.099 --> 00:45:53.646
You are free to do what I do.

00:45:53.646 --> 00:46:00.722
You are free to do exactly what I say to do and exactly how I do it.

00:46:00.722 --> 00:46:09.003
You are free because I have made you, remade you, my possession in my very image.

00:46:09.003 --> 00:46:10.027
Glory to God.

00:46:12.038 --> 00:46:19.244
We have shortchanged Pentecost and dumbed it down to the point where people don't even know why they get filled with God.

00:46:19.244 --> 00:46:23.824
I don't even think they know they've been filled with God.

00:46:23.824 --> 00:46:36.175
I think all they care about is a little you know, talking in tongues a little bit of different life and go over to God.

00:46:36.175 --> 00:46:59.588
We need to wake up the picture of the picture, and what God wanted me to to see and wanted me to share with you is this that the picture that he created for Jubilee over a 50 year period, he has shrunk down prophetically so that you can see exactly what's happening in Pentecost.

00:46:59.588 --> 00:47:06.121
Pentecost is the New Testament Jubilee and the connecting thing is the 50.

00:47:06.121 --> 00:47:11.159
Hallelujah, praise God.

00:47:15.117 --> 00:47:17.699
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

00:47:17.699 --> 00:47:24.666
Liberty from the law of sin and death, liberty from darkness and confusion and blindness.

00:47:24.666 --> 00:47:36.503
He said I've come to bring eyesight to the blind, the recovery of sight to the blind From the futility of works.

00:47:36.503 --> 00:47:39.981
Glory to God.

00:47:39.981 --> 00:47:44.744
How long have I been teaching you this?

00:47:44.744 --> 00:47:57.047
That in the Lord, in this perfect law of liberty, you are free from results.

00:47:57.047 --> 00:48:06.594
You are only required to obey If he tells you go, lay hands on this person that they might recover.

00:48:07.139 --> 00:48:11.574
If they recover or don't recover is not your responsibility.

00:48:11.574 --> 00:48:14.684
You could never have healed them in the first place.

00:48:14.684 --> 00:48:22.643
It is the responsibility of the greater one that lives in you and who has repossessed you.

00:48:22.643 --> 00:48:31.199
He has repossessed you so that you can experience what he experiences when he lays hands on the sick and they recover.

00:48:31.199 --> 00:48:34.266
You're free from responsibility, it's not.

00:48:34.266 --> 00:48:35.615
You can't do it anyway.

00:48:35.615 --> 00:48:45.041
The only thing you can do is stretch forth his hand, and religion wants him to stretch forth his hand while we watch, and God doesn't want that.

00:48:45.041 --> 00:48:46.934
God wants you to stretch forth his hand while we watch, and God doesn't want that.

00:48:46.934 --> 00:48:53.443
God wants you to stretch out his hand so that he can be right there with you, and then his power will be released.

00:48:53.443 --> 00:48:55.420
Glory to God.

00:48:55.420 --> 00:49:05.286
We're free from the burden of responsibility In the sense that we are no longer responsible for outcomes.

00:49:05.286 --> 00:49:08.161
You're responsible to pray.

00:49:11.117 --> 00:49:18.900
Now, if you take credit, Listen to me, if you're ever foolish enough to take credit for the outcome of that, well, that's because we prayed.

00:49:18.900 --> 00:49:24.001
Oh, really, it would be much better.

00:49:24.001 --> 00:49:25.275
Said that.

00:49:25.275 --> 00:49:28.335
That's because God moves, you know.

00:49:28.335 --> 00:49:29.722
Don't take any credit for it.

00:49:29.722 --> 00:49:34.603
Refuse to take the credit, refuse to take the responsibility.

00:49:34.603 --> 00:49:53.699
I didn't have a responsibility in here except to do what he told me to do, which, 99.9% of the time, is get out the way, let me pray, let me way, let me pray, let me heal, let me preach, let me teach, let me witness.

00:49:53.699 --> 00:49:59.606
Glory to God, jesus.

00:50:01.318 --> 00:50:02.983
Now here's how this all ties together.

00:50:02.983 --> 00:50:15.445
Jesus proclaimed the acceptable year of the Lord, which is the Lord's Jubilee, which is the New Testament Jubilee, which is Pentecost.

00:50:15.445 --> 00:50:22.681
He proclaimed that acceptable year every day of his three and a half year year ministry.

00:50:22.681 --> 00:50:35.398
His ministry was a set of measured steps, steps of destiny, from John's baptism to Pentecost.

00:50:35.398 --> 00:50:46.021
From John's baptism to Pentecost Every step proclaiming the new acceptable year.

00:50:47.264 --> 00:51:00.068
Now, see, the Jews understood this talk when they said to set at liberty them that are bruised or oppressed, to proclaim liberty to the captive.

00:51:00.068 --> 00:51:02.099
They understood that.

00:51:02.099 --> 00:51:03.804
Well, that's Jubilee.

00:51:03.804 --> 00:51:07.326
What's he doing talking about Jubilee?

00:51:07.326 --> 00:51:07.768
Well, it's Jubilee.

00:51:07.768 --> 00:51:08.010
That's what.

00:51:08.010 --> 00:51:08.795
What's he doing talking about Jubilee?

00:51:08.795 --> 00:51:18.315
Well, everything he preached about was about God in you doing the works that no one else had ever seen.

00:51:18.315 --> 00:51:21.681
It was the acceptable year of the Lord.

00:51:22.101 --> 00:51:27.449
See, listen, you can't imagine what it was like.

00:51:27.449 --> 00:51:34.688
There was no one in Israel that wanted to set the captives free.

00:51:34.688 --> 00:51:37.083
They didn't want to set the slaves free.

00:51:37.083 --> 00:51:39.161
They didn't want to set the servants free.

00:51:39.161 --> 00:51:41.963
They didn't want to restore debts.

00:51:41.963 --> 00:51:44.885
The only people that wanted that were people that were going to benefit.

00:51:44.885 --> 00:51:53.356
Nobody wanted to give them that freedom, but God did so.

00:51:53.376 --> 00:51:57.067
You know what the Jews did, you know.

00:51:57.067 --> 00:51:59.958
You just forgot.

00:51:59.958 --> 00:52:01.644
You know what they did.

00:52:01.644 --> 00:52:11.885
They quit celebrating the Sabbath of years, which was every seventh year, and if they quit celebrating them, then they quit counting.

00:52:11.885 --> 00:52:14.163
And if they quit counting, they couldn't count Jubilees.

00:52:14.163 --> 00:52:17.161
They quit having Jubilees.

00:52:17.161 --> 00:52:23.764
But you know who kept count, the one who could multiply in the first place.

00:52:23.764 --> 00:52:30.780
It said seven times seven years, in case all of you didn't go to school, that's 49 years.

00:52:30.780 --> 00:52:32.201
That's the Lord talking here.

00:52:32.201 --> 00:52:37.202
I can't believe God.

00:52:37.202 --> 00:52:39.960
You know what happened.

00:52:39.960 --> 00:52:54.827
They had to go into bondage to Babylon for 70 years because they had failed to observe 490 years of Sabbaths.

00:52:54.827 --> 00:52:58.242
That's in your Bible.

00:52:58.242 --> 00:53:04.300
Daniel said.

00:53:04.355 --> 00:53:16.394
Daniel said that I had reckoned by the years that were written in the scriptures, that the time was at hand for the people of Israel to go free.

00:53:16.394 --> 00:53:37.148
And I started to fast and I started to pray and the archangel Michael came to him and said your prayers, daniel, were heard on the very first day, but I was resisted from coming to the people, israel.

00:53:37.148 --> 00:53:41.164
But your prayers are heard.

00:53:41.164 --> 00:53:43.059
And listen to this.

00:53:43.059 --> 00:53:47.880
If you don't think these numbers mean something, and listen to this.

00:53:47.880 --> 00:53:58.152
He said if you don't think these numbers mean something, from the going forth back to, from the proclamation, to go back to Jerusalem, to the rising up of the temple shall be what?

00:53:58.152 --> 00:54:02.539
49 years.

00:54:02.539 --> 00:54:15.818
And then he goes on and on, in multiples of seven, multiples of 49, till we get to Palm Sunday, when Jesus is announced as the Messiah.

00:54:15.818 --> 00:54:18.623
In other words, god reversed the curse.

00:54:18.623 --> 00:54:33.594
From the time they went back to Israel from Babylon it was almost exactly 490 years to when Jesus came down the Mount of Olives.

00:54:33.594 --> 00:54:35.960
Good, I'd have a hash, a type.

00:54:35.960 --> 00:54:38.105
You don't think God.

00:54:38.585 --> 00:54:46.266
And how many times are you expected to forgive hallelujah?

00:54:46.266 --> 00:54:48.751
And where does that put you?

00:54:48.751 --> 00:54:50.032
It puts you into Hallelujah.

00:54:50.032 --> 00:54:50.855
And where does that put you?

00:54:50.855 --> 00:54:58.711
It puts you into Pentecost.

00:54:58.711 --> 00:55:00.519
The whole thing about Pentecost is that it's the day.

00:55:00.519 --> 00:55:05.405
It is the day when God possesses His possession.

00:55:05.405 --> 00:55:12.563
You, we have all had our own Pentecost, just like we've had our own road to Damascus experience.

00:55:12.563 --> 00:55:15.344
But Paul had his own Pentecost.

00:55:15.344 --> 00:55:27.164
He didn't have to wait 50 days Amen, because the Spirit had already been given and Jesus had already been glorified.

00:55:27.164 --> 00:55:36.740
Real liberty in the Spirit was proclaimed, not just physical liberty, but real liberty.

00:55:36.740 --> 00:55:46.518
It is the Lord, it is God who works in me, that does these great things that you see.

00:55:46.518 --> 00:55:52.563
It is God working in you to both to will and to do His good pleasure.

00:55:52.563 --> 00:55:59.519
Amen, praise God, hallelujah the acceptable just get this if you don't get anything else.

00:55:59.519 --> 00:56:07.539
The acceptable year of the Lord is the New Testament Jubilee, which is Pentecost.

00:56:07.539 --> 00:56:10.403
Amen and Jesus.

00:56:11.164 --> 00:56:22.527
The whole emphasis of Luke 4 and 18 was to say to Israel a new Jubilee is being proclaimed in this land.

00:56:22.527 --> 00:56:28.034
It is not the way, it is, only foreshadowed by the way it was before.

00:56:28.034 --> 00:56:49.967
But I'm here to tell you that my ministry is going to define the new Jubilee and the new Jubilee you will have a testimony to when the new Jubilee comes, when God possesses his possessions that he possessed before time began.

00:56:49.967 --> 00:56:54.800
Hallelujah, praise God.

00:56:54.800 --> 00:57:09.697
And we who are still here and walking in that Pentecost are still living proof that the Jubilee of the New Testament is still happening.

00:57:09.697 --> 00:57:22.097
Glory to God, praise the name of the Lord, hallelujah to God.

00:57:22.097 --> 00:57:27.487
Thanks be to Jesus, amen, let's stand.
