What if the glory that God seeks to reveal in you isn't just a reflection but something you can embody and radiate? Discover how believers can experience and manifest the eternal, transformative power of the Spirit in our exploration of 2 Corinthians chapter three. Understand the profound shift from the transient glory of the old covenant, symbolized by the ministry of death in stones, to the lasting glory of the new covenant marked by the Spirit's power. Our conversation reveals how these spiritual truths find their ultimate fulfillment in Jesus, whose resurrection gifts His followers with the fulness of His divine radiance.

In a world where trends come and go, what remains unchanging? We contrast the temporary glory of Moses with the enduring nature of the Spirit's ministry, reflecting on personal experiences that highlight the temptation for modern ministries to prioritize relevant trends over genuine spiritual encounters. This episode challenges us to maintain our connection to this timeless glory, rooted in the Spirit, to navigate the cultural tides without losing sight of what truly matters.

As we journey from law to grace, discover how early Christians transitioned from a Jewish-centric view to a grace-filled understanding of faith, transcending rigid interpretations of scripture. By listening to God's voice and embracing His glory, we unlock the potential for spiritual transformation and insight. You'll gain a deeper appreciation for the power of God's word and the transformative journey into becoming sons and daughters of God, guided by the Spirit's enduring presence and glory.

00:00:00.221 --> 00:00:04.852
Let's turn to the third chapter of 2 Corinthians.

00:00:04.852 --> 00:00:21.251
I continue to talk about the spirit of ministry, looking at this, starting in this third chapter, because it talks about as we've talked about the past couple of weeks.

00:00:21.251 --> 00:00:28.893
It says in one place, second corinthians, chapter three.

00:00:28.893 --> 00:00:30.681
So what didn't I say that?

00:00:30.681 --> 00:00:37.371
Probably okay, I've got the wrong thing here.

00:00:37.371 --> 00:00:43.301
Praise god, thank you jesus.

00:00:43.301 --> 00:00:56.729
Thank you, jesus.

00:00:56.729 --> 00:01:16.221
It says in verse 7, if the ministry of death, written engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?

00:01:16.221 --> 00:01:28.108
So from that verse verse 8, we see that one of the names of the Spirit is the Spirit of ministry, his unique ministry.

00:01:28.108 --> 00:01:33.799
One of the names of the Spirit is the Spirit of Ministry, his unique ministry.

00:01:33.799 --> 00:01:34.400
There's a ministry of Jesus.

00:01:34.400 --> 00:01:47.015
The unique ministry of the Spirit is to minister glory, and the evidence of that is, when he raised Jesus from the dead, the glory that was released.

00:01:54.959 --> 00:01:59.274
Remember that the Bible says that there was a different kind of a glory that came when the new creation came out of the grave.

00:01:59.274 --> 00:02:03.865
That glory had never been seen on the earth before, never been manifested.

00:02:03.865 --> 00:02:11.247
The only time there was even a glimpse of it was on the Mount of Transfiguration, and that glory was manifested.

00:02:11.247 --> 00:02:26.911
And then the amazing thing about the resurrection of Jesus is that he gave to all of those that would come to Him the ability to contain that glory.

00:02:26.911 --> 00:02:30.311
That was never done before.

00:02:30.311 --> 00:02:46.649
The Spirit may have come upon men of old as they prophesied and as they brought the word of the Lord, but the glory of the Lord had not yet been revealed.

00:02:46.649 --> 00:02:49.183
Are you following me?

00:02:49.183 --> 00:03:01.806
Moses was unique in the way that he received the glory of God, manifested it upon his skin to the people of Israel.

00:03:01.806 --> 00:03:07.951
But as far as we can tell from the rest of the Old Testament, nobody else did that.

00:03:07.951 --> 00:03:13.483
Nobody else did that and we don't see Jesus doing that.

00:03:13.483 --> 00:03:26.687
I mean, there's nothing in the Bible that says in His earthly ministry before the cross, that there was any indication of light bulb Jesus, of glow-in-the-dark Jesus.

00:03:26.687 --> 00:03:27.301
There was just.

00:03:27.301 --> 00:03:31.405
You know, there's no account for that the only time that happened.

00:03:31.405 --> 00:03:54.451
And it was so remarkable that all three of the apostles that were witnesses well, not James, because he died, but Peter and John, who were the remaining apostles that went up on the mountain with him in their old age, on the end of their days, when they were about to go, they were testifying of how great that experience was.

00:03:54.451 --> 00:04:06.211
We received the Holy Word on the holy mountain and you would be well advised to pay attention to it.

00:04:06.211 --> 00:04:12.581
They still mention that, john when he was in his 90s.

00:04:12.581 --> 00:04:15.270
Peter was probably when he was in his 70s or 80s.

00:04:17.629 --> 00:04:25.185
One of the singular, most important things that ever happened to them was to see Jesus in his glorified form, because that had never happened.

00:04:25.185 --> 00:04:27.646
I mean, you understand what I'm saying.

00:04:27.646 --> 00:04:31.511
If that had been like ho-hum, you know well, yeah, we saw that yesterday.

00:04:31.511 --> 00:04:33.947
Oh yeah, you did that last week.

00:04:33.947 --> 00:04:36.949
Oh yeah, we were down by the Sea of Galilee and you know we were hungry.

00:04:36.949 --> 00:04:41.112
So Jesus glowed and fish jumped out of the water and we had a fish fry.

00:04:41.112 --> 00:04:43.586
You know, nothing like that is recorded.

00:04:48.980 --> 00:05:20.711
It may have happened, but I kind of doubt it, because what did happen on the Mount of Transfiguration was so singular and so dramatic that they laid hold of that as the evidence that there was a glory to be released in this thing that we call the body of Christ, because Jesus earned the right as the first fruits of the new creation, to distribute this glory among many brethren.

00:05:20.711 --> 00:05:34.028
So the glory that he had it says this in John 17, the glory I had before when I was with you, father, I give to them that they may be one.

00:05:34.028 --> 00:05:41.509
So this is the unique ministry of the Spirit.

00:05:41.509 --> 00:05:45.524
The ministry of the Spirit is a glorious ministry.

00:05:45.524 --> 00:05:51.230
It is a ministry that is full of glory, hallelujah.

00:05:51.230 --> 00:06:00.221
Now he has the right to do that because he was the one of the Godhead that raised Jesus from the dead.

00:06:00.221 --> 00:06:14.394
So when he raised Jesus from the dead, he infused this risen Christ with all of the glory, hallelujah.

00:06:14.394 --> 00:06:24.701
You know, you've got to read this Bible like it's not a Sunday school story.

00:06:24.701 --> 00:06:35.209
Read what it says that the Spirit raised Jesus from the dead Hallelujah and made Him the firstborn of many brethren.

00:06:35.209 --> 00:06:38.990
And what is the common link of all these many brethren?

00:06:38.990 --> 00:06:42.690
That they are the containers of the glory of the Lord.

00:06:46.120 --> 00:06:48.750
Not containers of the glory of the Lord, not reflectors.

00:06:48.750 --> 00:06:54.026
They're not mirrors like Moses, but they are containers and radiators.

00:06:54.026 --> 00:07:18.303
For example, if you stood next to the fire and you had some sort of a reflective surface something I don't know, garbage can, lid or something like that and you held it up to the fire.

00:07:18.303 --> 00:07:33.173
After a while, if you put your hand close to that reflective surface, you would feel heat coming off of it Because the fire is hitting it and it's reflecting off Amen.

00:07:33.173 --> 00:07:41.884
But if you took that same lid and took it outside, it wouldn't do that.

00:07:41.884 --> 00:07:46.774
It had to be around the fire to do that, amen.

00:07:46.774 --> 00:07:56.232
But if you took the fire outside, it would still give off heat, because the heat is within the wood and the fire.

00:08:01.182 --> 00:08:02.487
You understand, that's us.

00:08:02.487 --> 00:08:05.767
The glory is within us.

00:08:05.767 --> 00:08:19.122
Christ, in you, the hope of glory, the earnest expectation of the manifestation of glory in you, amen.

00:08:19.122 --> 00:08:20.968
You can expect it.

00:08:20.968 --> 00:08:26.451
You don't have to wish it, you don't have to think about well, I don't know if I've got.

00:08:26.451 --> 00:08:28.387
You don't know if I'm prayed up today.

00:08:28.387 --> 00:08:33.547
Well, you know it's good to be prayed up, but you can't let that limit you.

00:08:33.547 --> 00:08:37.808
If the glory needs to get out today, it needs to get out.

00:08:37.808 --> 00:08:46.263
If you're full of the Holy Ghost, you are full of His glory, hallelujah.

00:08:46.263 --> 00:08:48.330
Let me tell you this before I go on.

00:08:51.085 --> 00:08:55.447
You've heard it said that the angels long to look into these things.

00:08:55.447 --> 00:09:03.672
Let me tell you this one thing Moses, who reflected the glory of God coming down off the mountain longed to look into the day when that glory would not disappear.

00:09:03.672 --> 00:09:07.126
The glory of God coming down off the mountain long to look into the day when that glory would not disappear.

00:09:07.126 --> 00:09:15.030
Everybody else was afraid of him and everybody else wanted to put a bag over his head.

00:09:15.030 --> 00:09:19.729
And Moses was looking to the day when the glory would not disappear.

00:09:19.729 --> 00:09:27.070
Hallelujah, praise the Lord, amen.

00:09:32.970 --> 00:10:00.270
The knowledge of it we talked about that last week is that the knowledge of the glory of the Lord is different than the glory of the Lord, and everybody misquotes that scripture and they think that the earth is going to be covered with the glory of the Lord, like this golden ball of glory and it's just going to kind of glow and do all this kind of stuff.

00:10:00.270 --> 00:10:01.525
But that's not what the Bible says.

00:10:01.525 --> 00:10:07.509
The Bible says that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord.

00:10:07.509 --> 00:10:15.831
That means it's going to be known by two classes of people one that have it and one that don't.

00:10:15.831 --> 00:10:31.490
The ones that have it will know of the knowledge of the glory in a way that they can use it, manifest it, reveal it, make God known by it, and the others that don't have it and don't know.

00:10:31.490 --> 00:10:47.471
It will know by the testimony of the signs and wonders, but the prophecy is such that it will be so manifest that the entire earth will testify to the knowledge of the glory.

00:10:50.602 --> 00:11:13.568
Now we're not there yet, because people are still scoffers, because there hasn't been a ramping up of a release of the glory, because so many that profess to be Christians are deniers of the glory, because so many that profess to be Christians are deniers of the glory, and so this is what we're going to talk about tonight.

00:11:13.568 --> 00:11:19.427
Praise God if I ever get past the introduction, verse 11.

00:11:19.427 --> 00:11:29.951
If what is passing away was glorious, what remains is much more glorious.

00:11:29.951 --> 00:12:06.609
Now I'm going to talk about two or three different levels of what is going on here, because I'm going to tell you that what we're seeing in verses 11 through 16 is a super high speed revelation, transfer by the Holy Ghost to Paul, and Paul tried to get it down as quickly as he could with the revelation that he had.

00:12:06.609 --> 00:12:33.793
But there is a load of revelation to be understood in these handful of scriptures right here, because it focuses on a particular event in history, but then it extrapolates from that, pulls from that all the way into the ministry of Jesus, the resurrection and the ministry of the body.

00:12:33.793 --> 00:12:37.846
All of that in a handful of sentences Only.

00:12:37.846 --> 00:12:45.309
With the way that God can do these things, it would take me a lifetime to talk about all this stuff.

00:12:45.309 --> 00:12:47.799
God can get it done in two or three sentences.

00:12:47.799 --> 00:12:59.389
But I was studying this this afternoon and the Holy Ghost said Paul had to dictate over time and he had to stop and reflect on what I was giving him.

00:12:59.389 --> 00:13:12.745
So I pray that we just get a tidbit of this.

00:13:12.764 --> 00:13:31.527
The glory that came upon Moses as phenomenal as that was, as amazing as that was, as consistent as that was, it not only happened during the time that Moses was up, but it happened every time Moses went into the tabernacle and had a meeting with God.

00:13:31.527 --> 00:13:37.331
The law that was given to Moses was given over a period of time.

00:13:37.331 --> 00:13:42.908
That wasn't all given up on the mountain, because not all of that would fit on the rock.

00:13:42.908 --> 00:13:58.269
There was a lot of it that came down and had to be written down in the scrolls given to the Levites, and all of that had to be taken care of and guarded, and Moses had to pull it out and read it to the people periodically.

00:13:58.269 --> 00:14:01.465
Hello, are you remembering all this?

00:14:01.465 --> 00:14:04.984
That he would do this, amen.

00:14:04.984 --> 00:14:06.730
So this didn't happen overnight.

00:14:06.730 --> 00:14:10.188
Over time God gave him the things.

00:14:10.188 --> 00:14:19.850
But you've got to know this that just because it's in the first five books of the Bible does not mean that's the only thing that God talked to Moses about.

00:14:19.850 --> 00:14:28.908
I mean he told listen, there had to be this conversation.

00:14:31.620 --> 00:14:38.716
Moses, I do notice that when you leave here you're full of the glory of the Lord.

00:14:38.716 --> 00:14:47.730
It's radiating off you, it's reflecting off of you and the people wisely do not want to see it lest they die.

00:14:47.730 --> 00:14:52.761
But I'm telling you, Moses, that there is a glory that's coming.

00:14:52.761 --> 00:14:56.030
Do you remember the one I showed you?

00:14:56.030 --> 00:15:05.344
That one, that one will have a glory that does not fade away, does not pass away, does not disappear.

00:15:05.344 --> 00:15:08.131
That glory will remain.

00:15:08.131 --> 00:15:11.707
Your glory passes away.

00:15:11.707 --> 00:15:17.628
In fact, as soon as it comes upon you it begins to pass away.

00:15:17.628 --> 00:15:27.610
As soon as it came upon him and he began to reflect it.

00:15:27.610 --> 00:15:30.548
The more he reflected it, the more it went away.

00:15:30.548 --> 00:15:35.004
Do we have that?

00:15:35.004 --> 00:15:44.683
It wasn't like he is full 100 watt light bulb and all of a sudden the power went out and there's no glow.

00:15:44.683 --> 00:15:45.967
Wasn't like that.

00:15:45.967 --> 00:16:02.309
It would start at 100 and then get to 90 and then 75, and it kind of winded its way down and finally it could take off the veil and he'd just be normal Moses, until he went back into the presence and it happened all over again.

00:16:02.309 --> 00:16:14.249
But as soon as it happened it was starting to fade away, just like the phrase you begin to die the moment you're born.

00:16:14.249 --> 00:16:22.284
Death starts working in your body even though you've just started.

00:16:22.284 --> 00:16:26.073
Hallelujah, hallelujah.

00:16:28.341 --> 00:16:32.192
So Paul uses this as a point of illustration.

00:16:32.192 --> 00:16:44.270
If it was glorious but it was passing away, how much more glorious is this ministry of the Spirit that does not pass away, it remains, it stays.

00:16:44.270 --> 00:16:59.129
It is eternal, it remains, it stays, it is eternal, it is unending, there is no limit, it is infinite, it is all-powerful, it is amazingly, amazingly powerful.

00:16:59.129 --> 00:17:13.391
But when you compare it to what happened to Moses, as soon as Moses received it it was leaving, but as soon as we receive it by the Holy Ghost, it stays.

00:17:13.391 --> 00:17:42.045
Now I've said this before and I'll say it again, that when you have ministries that their whole focus is to be trendy and cute and woo the public, and with professional musicians or whatever else they're using, they're going to change it in five years anyway.

00:17:42.045 --> 00:17:47.806
Do something new, depending on who on television is getting the most crowds and we're going to try to be like them.

00:17:47.806 --> 00:18:03.548
You know, those churches whatever glory they had started to dissipate as soon as they started to use it and by the time they wore it out.

00:18:03.548 --> 00:18:18.409
Then they have to go, get and borrow another temporary kind of glory so that they can pull the wool over the people's eyes and keep them entertained and think that they're doing something really spiritual, just because it's different.

00:18:18.409 --> 00:18:24.583
But the Bible clearly says that the glory that is by the Spirit remaineth.

00:18:24.583 --> 00:18:26.449
It just stays there.

00:18:26.449 --> 00:18:31.371
If the Spirit's not going to change, the glory's not going to change.

00:18:31.371 --> 00:18:35.951
If the Spirit's not going to change, the manifestation of the glory's not going to change.

00:18:35.951 --> 00:18:42.930
If the Spirit's going to stay the same, the way he deals with the glory in us is going to stay the same.

00:18:42.930 --> 00:18:44.260
That's not going to change.

00:18:44.260 --> 00:18:51.289
So you can choose to be trendy or you can choose to be a minister of the glory.

00:18:51.289 --> 00:19:05.192
In the one case you better find something else to take the place of what you're doing as soon as that wears off, because it's already wearing off.

00:19:09.539 --> 00:19:13.007
I was, you know, we, you, we, all three can testify this.

00:19:13.007 --> 00:19:22.586
We, we were all day riding around in a, in a in a ministry, van and, and we went to this meeting.

00:19:22.586 --> 00:19:23.906
I've told you all about this meeting.

00:19:23.906 --> 00:19:32.076
Two old saints and they played guitar and sang every old Christian song that anybody ever knew.

00:19:32.076 --> 00:19:33.761
You know, it was just.

00:19:33.761 --> 00:19:38.632
You know, some of the oldest going back into the 40s of the basic.

00:19:38.632 --> 00:19:45.633
You know, just real basic, simple gospel songs that were taught to them by the missionaries.

00:19:45.633 --> 00:19:48.708
Just real simple stuff.

00:19:48.708 --> 00:19:49.560
You know.

00:19:49.560 --> 00:19:50.061
And we're just.

00:19:50.061 --> 00:19:52.470
You know, we're just sitting there crying like babies.

00:19:52.470 --> 00:19:53.121
You know, it's just.

00:19:53.121 --> 00:19:56.652
I mean I wouldn't have traded anything for that afternoon.

00:19:58.660 --> 00:20:05.673
And so Martine's son was driving us around and I got, we got in the car and I was riding shotgun.

00:20:05.673 --> 00:20:06.354
He was driving.

00:20:06.354 --> 00:20:09.148
I said you probably knew all those songs, didn't you?

00:20:09.148 --> 00:20:11.327
Oh yeah, I've heard all those songs.

00:20:11.327 --> 00:20:14.339
My dad sang all those songs and he'd play all those songs.

00:20:14.339 --> 00:20:19.069
I heard all those songs growing up, but we're doing more relevant music now.

00:20:19.069 --> 00:20:25.660
I said, oh really, oh really.

00:20:25.660 --> 00:20:35.246
I said I hope you grow up to the maturity that you understand that what you just saw is one of the most precious things you will ever witness in your life.

00:20:35.246 --> 00:20:41.711
And he just scoffed and you know what?

00:20:41.711 --> 00:20:45.048
He was out of the ministry in a matter of months.

00:20:45.048 --> 00:20:53.886
Now he's back in, he's restored and all that, but that scoffing.

00:20:53.886 --> 00:20:56.442
That day you can set your clock to it.

00:20:56.442 --> 00:21:02.233
Praise God, you got.

00:21:02.233 --> 00:21:02.594
You know.

00:21:02.594 --> 00:21:14.989
You need to develop, you know, a keen, discerning ability to understand when God is moving in his glory, even though it doesn't look like it.

00:21:18.901 --> 00:21:22.310
It's like that old story that Brother Hagin used to tell.

00:21:22.310 --> 00:21:27.567
He said he was pastor and there was these two old saints, two old guys, and they couldn't sing a lick.

00:21:27.567 --> 00:21:39.108
And they came up and they insisted that they were going to sing a special Brother Hagin said oh God, this is going to be terrible.

00:21:39.108 --> 00:21:41.605
So they get up and they start singing.

00:21:41.605 --> 00:21:43.411
And it is terrible.

00:21:43.411 --> 00:21:49.789
I mean, it's just as bad as what you thought it was going to be Off key, out of tempo, forget the words.

00:21:49.789 --> 00:22:01.460
I mean they're just up there slinging it and Brother Hagin's over there in the corner going oh God, help me with this Lord, get these people off this platform.

00:22:01.460 --> 00:22:06.507
And the Holy Ghost spoke to him and said Let me tell you something.

00:22:06.507 --> 00:22:12.310
I shut down the angels just so I could listen to them sing.

00:22:12.310 --> 00:22:18.188
Now you just better get with the program.

00:22:22.281 --> 00:22:31.127
See, you don't know what is glorious and what's not, unless you major in this.

00:22:31.127 --> 00:22:36.048
That remains hallelujah.

00:22:36.048 --> 00:22:40.799
That's why we sing such old songs, because you know it doesn't pay to be trendy.

00:22:40.799 --> 00:22:43.270
That stuff's going to come and go, you know.

00:22:43.270 --> 00:22:50.021
I mean, I mean, if you don't have a woo-woo and an ah-ah and a couple of you know things like that, nobody wants to hear it anymore and all that stuff is just.

00:22:50.021 --> 00:22:53.368
You know, that's just bad songwriting.

00:22:53.368 --> 00:22:55.031
I'll put it that.

00:22:55.031 --> 00:22:57.624
Let me put it just that it's just bad songwriting.

00:22:57.624 --> 00:23:05.358
I mean, you couldn't even get that in a top hundred in a popular radio station.

00:23:05.358 --> 00:23:07.406
It's just so bad, it's pathetic.

00:23:07.406 --> 00:23:09.910
But you can fool Christians with it.

00:23:09.910 --> 00:23:14.826
Oh Jesus, I better get back to the text.

00:23:17.412 --> 00:23:28.964
Therefore, paul says since it's remaining, we have such hope, we have an earnest expectation and we use great boldness of speech.

00:23:28.964 --> 00:23:35.538
Listen to what Paul's saying.

00:23:35.538 --> 00:23:56.222
Because we have this glory that remains, we can be confident, we can be bold, we can have an earnest expectation that what God is saying and doing is going to bring to pass what he has promised, not like Moses who put a veil over his face.

00:23:56.222 --> 00:23:59.250
Like Moses who put a veil over his face.

00:23:59.250 --> 00:24:02.018
So here's Paul's making this comparison between him and Moses.

00:24:02.018 --> 00:24:08.134
Now you go.

00:24:08.134 --> 00:24:10.810
Well, that's a bold statement.

00:24:10.871 --> 00:24:11.854
Paul knew who he was.

00:24:11.854 --> 00:24:22.260
Paul knew who he was in God and he knew who he was in what Jesus had made him, and he wasn't going to back off of that to nobody, not even to Moses.

00:24:22.260 --> 00:24:37.656
And he said we minister in boldness, we minister in hope, we minister in this glory that remains, but we are not like Moses.

00:24:37.656 --> 00:24:41.780
Just like I tell everybody you know we are not Lazarus.

00:24:41.780 --> 00:24:48.962
You know your resurrection experience in Christ is nothing like Lazarus.

00:24:48.962 --> 00:24:55.394
Lazarus just got up and got a body restored to him and he had to die again.

00:24:55.394 --> 00:24:56.934
Amen.

00:24:56.934 --> 00:25:03.980
Your resurrection experience is entirely different than that Glory to God, exactly.

00:25:03.980 --> 00:25:06.863
And Paul said we are not like Moses.

00:25:07.263 --> 00:25:11.946
That glory that Moses had, he had to put a veil over his face.

00:25:11.946 --> 00:25:23.557
In other words, listen, what good does it do you if you glow like the glory of God when you come down off the mountain and you can't share it?

00:25:23.557 --> 00:25:29.842
The only thing you can do is put the veil on so nobody sees it.

00:25:29.842 --> 00:25:32.239
What good does it do you?

00:25:32.239 --> 00:25:36.159
It doesn't do anybody else any good and it doesn't do you any good.

00:25:36.159 --> 00:25:42.421
The only time it did you good is when you received it from the Lord.

00:25:42.421 --> 00:25:47.134
Other than that, as soon as you left the presence and it started to pass away.

00:25:47.134 --> 00:25:50.641
It didn't do you any good, it was actually a detriment.

00:25:50.641 --> 00:25:52.291
You had to go into hiding.

00:25:52.291 --> 00:25:54.336
You had to go into being a recluse.

00:25:54.336 --> 00:25:56.441
You couldn't come into anybody's presence.

00:25:56.441 --> 00:26:01.679
You had to go hide away and put a bag on your head, almost like you had leprosy.

00:26:01.679 --> 00:26:03.624
Is anybody getting this?

00:26:03.624 --> 00:26:11.413
It wasn't like Moses stood up and preached with this great glow and everybody was just falling out in the spirit and everything.

00:26:11.413 --> 00:26:12.517
That did not happen.

00:26:13.398 --> 00:26:15.142
He didn't have boldness of speech.

00:26:15.142 --> 00:26:17.234
He didn't have boldness of character.

00:26:17.234 --> 00:26:19.059
He didn't have the glory of the Lord.

00:26:19.059 --> 00:26:22.099
He had to restrain the glory of the Lord.

00:26:22.099 --> 00:26:23.305
Do you not remember that?

00:26:23.305 --> 00:26:27.801
Moses said to God I can't lead these people, I can't speak.

00:26:27.801 --> 00:26:32.151
He said okay, I'll give you Aaron, he'll speak for you.

00:26:32.151 --> 00:26:34.398
Moses never got over that.

00:26:34.398 --> 00:26:45.496
He never had a boldness of speech, not even when he had the glory, because it never penetrated him.

00:26:45.496 --> 00:26:49.104
The glory didn't penetrate him, but the Word of God did.

00:26:49.104 --> 00:26:50.892
And so Moses got.

00:26:50.892 --> 00:26:55.779
Listen, moses got the same thing that every other great man of God that heard God speak.

00:26:55.779 --> 00:26:58.464
He got the spirit and the gift of faith.

00:26:58.464 --> 00:27:12.592
He heard God speak and it produced faith in him to do certain things, but the glory did not penetrate Moses, it just reflected, just like the moon, just like we talked about last week.

00:27:12.592 --> 00:27:14.778
Amen, are you with me?

00:27:14.778 --> 00:27:20.172
So Paul says here, we're not like Moses, we're different.

00:27:20.172 --> 00:27:25.053
We have boldness of speech, we have glory, we have a hope.

00:27:25.753 --> 00:27:33.266
Moses didn't have any of that you want to ask so well, because you just made a comment.

00:27:33.266 --> 00:27:46.880
I'm sure you said it before, but it just hit me, like I hadn't heard it before, that every single time that Moses went back into the temple in the presence of God, that exact same glory came upon him.

00:27:46.880 --> 00:27:49.294
Yes, that came upon him on the mountain.

00:27:49.294 --> 00:27:49.815
On the mountain.

00:27:49.815 --> 00:27:53.280
I never I don't know where I've been.

00:27:53.280 --> 00:27:54.784
It says that, anyway.

00:27:54.784 --> 00:28:02.098
But you just answered a question that I had because you said they did not.

00:28:02.098 --> 00:28:08.577
I know you said you had a veil on, but I was wondering, well, how come somebody didn't notice it.

00:28:08.577 --> 00:28:11.844
But now I understand they couldn't have.

00:28:11.844 --> 00:28:15.008
It wasn't a one-time thing, it was like every time he went.

00:28:15.008 --> 00:28:23.201
But as soon as he came out from behind the curtain talking to God, aaron was there with the veil.

00:28:24.445 --> 00:28:44.994
Okay, and then you know, go thou away, thou Moses, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily and watch the phrasing here steadily, at the end of what was already passing away.

00:28:44.994 --> 00:28:54.176
Now here's one of these things where we've got multiple layers going on here.

00:28:54.176 --> 00:29:11.715
That word passing away means to be abolished, idle, inactive, inoperative, deprived of force.

00:29:11.715 --> 00:29:16.513
I'm going to go on to some other things, but I want to bring this point out to you so that you understand where I'm going on this.

00:29:16.513 --> 00:29:24.656
The children of Israel could not, could not, look steadily.

00:29:24.656 --> 00:29:29.154
Now watch how the Holy Ghost phrases this.

00:29:29.154 --> 00:29:41.778
At the end of what was being abolished, the King James says abolished, the New King James says passing away, and there's a dozen other words that have to do with that.

00:29:43.230 --> 00:29:50.901
The Holy Ghost was not just talking about Moses and his glory, but he was talking about the glory that was associated with the law.

00:29:50.901 --> 00:30:00.070
There was a glory associated with the law Because it came from God.

00:30:00.070 --> 00:30:22.377
However, that glory, as soon as the law was given, began to pass away, and since that passed away, there was already a predefined end for it, and that was Jesus.

00:30:22.377 --> 00:30:30.910
So, from God's point of view, what was happening to Moses was also happening to the law.

00:30:30.910 --> 00:30:33.394
Are you with me so far?

00:30:33.394 --> 00:30:44.596
Now, what happened to Moses would pass away sooner than the law would pass away, but it was the same principle.

00:30:44.596 --> 00:30:56.838
As soon as God gave the law and it had a glory on it, that glory was passing away because the end of it was to be abolished.

00:30:56.838 --> 00:31:00.655
Are you with me so far?

00:31:00.655 --> 00:31:01.934
Are you with me on all this?

00:31:01.934 --> 00:31:07.618
The law was never made to be permanent, the law was to be abolished.

00:31:08.170 --> 00:31:14.601
Now everybody would say, well, the law still remains for the Jews, only for them, who have not come to Jesus.

00:31:14.601 --> 00:31:20.893
Once they come to Jesus, the law is abolished to them.

00:31:20.893 --> 00:31:26.298
This is the great issue of the first century church.

00:31:26.298 --> 00:31:34.740
After the first century, this almost became a non-issue as the church became more Gentile than it became Jewish.

00:31:34.740 --> 00:31:39.378
They understood that it's only coming into the Lord.

00:31:39.378 --> 00:31:41.022
That makes a difference.

00:31:41.022 --> 00:31:44.140
And once you come in, the law is done away with.

00:31:45.913 --> 00:31:54.599
Because right here, paul says that that law, that glory, has an end and it is to be abolished.

00:31:54.599 --> 00:31:57.920
However, the Jews couldn't see it.

00:31:57.920 --> 00:32:00.835
Read what it says.

00:32:00.835 --> 00:32:07.421
The children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was being abolished.

00:32:07.421 --> 00:32:21.333
Now look, if you think for one second that when God gave the law to Israel, he did not know that he would nail it to the cross of Jesus and make it obliterated.

00:32:21.333 --> 00:32:24.141
If you don't think he knew that, you don't know your God.

00:32:26.411 --> 00:32:35.777
This was a stopgap, temporary measure only for the people of Israel, and it had a glory on it.

00:32:35.777 --> 00:32:42.701
But as soon as it was given, that glory was passing away, because the end was already seen by God.

00:32:42.701 --> 00:32:51.993
Moses saw the end, but nobody else could see the end, and so they thought it was permanent.

00:32:51.993 --> 00:33:03.473
Had they been able to see the end, they would have known that it was not permanent and there was something better to come.

00:33:03.473 --> 00:33:10.501
They thought that the Messiah was to be a fulfiller and not an abolisher.

00:33:10.501 --> 00:33:21.671
But had they been able to see the end as described here, they would have known better, but they could not see it.

00:33:21.671 --> 00:33:23.214
Why could they not see it?

00:33:23.214 --> 00:33:28.000
Well, we'll get to that in a moment, but let me tell you what that word means.

00:33:28.000 --> 00:33:35.701
You'll understand why I say that God's talking on multiple levels here.

00:33:36.871 --> 00:33:41.102
These words all apply to the passing away of the law.

00:33:41.102 --> 00:33:56.782
It became idle, it became inactive, it became inoperative, it became deprived of force, it was caused to cease, to be done away with.

00:33:56.782 --> 00:34:14.067
It was severed from, separated from, discharged from, terminated all involvement with, in other words, like Paul said in the book of Hebrews, that it was rendered obsolete.

00:34:14.067 --> 00:34:18.945
It was rendered obsolete.

00:34:18.945 --> 00:34:24.813
It passed away so much by the time of Jesus that it was rendered obsolete.

00:34:24.813 --> 00:34:26.978
And Jesus testified to that.

00:34:26.978 --> 00:34:29.376
He said you've made the Word of God of no effect.

00:34:33.652 --> 00:34:36.039
And it wasn't like they could go back and fix it.

00:34:36.039 --> 00:34:38.161
It wasn't like they could go back and fix it.

00:34:38.161 --> 00:34:48.695
It wasn't like they were going to have, they weren't going to have a revival of the first five books of the Bible without the Talmud.

00:34:48.695 --> 00:34:53.277
They weren't going to have a revival of the Torah without the Talmud.

00:34:53.277 --> 00:34:54.380
I've told you this before.

00:34:54.380 --> 00:34:59.563
They had the first five books of the Bible and then they had 1,500 years of commentary.

00:34:59.563 --> 00:35:37.773
Well, you can think that's funny, but we've had 500 years of Matthew through Revelation, with 200-something denominations, commentaries on it, and we have whole branches of people that call themselves Christians that believe more in the denominational analysis of it than they do in the literal word, and they cannot interpret the literal word without the analysis of the rabbis, not the rabbis.

00:35:38.496 --> 00:35:39.460
I didn't say that, did I.

00:35:39.460 --> 00:35:45.559
Glory to God, hallelujah.

00:35:45.559 --> 00:35:58.378
So I want you to see there was a passing away, there was a being done with, there was an obliteration, there was being obsolete.

00:35:58.378 --> 00:36:02.175
And God saw it, moses saw it.

00:36:02.175 --> 00:36:05.501
They saw Jesus as the end point.

00:36:05.501 --> 00:36:13.858
Jesus saw it and he began to minister it and every time he could, he hit them straight between the eyes with it.

00:36:13.858 --> 00:36:24.231
He said you guys are a bunch of snakes, you guys are liars, you're extortioners, you steal money from widows, you're thieves.

00:36:24.231 --> 00:36:32.001
I mean, he just laid it out there and he said and besides all that, he said, you don't even keep the law.

00:36:32.001 --> 00:36:40.443
Now, how can he say that?

00:36:40.443 --> 00:36:52.365
Because he was the one that wrote it, he should know, and he knew they were dealing with the thoughts of men more than the thoughts of God.

00:36:52.365 --> 00:36:53.626
Hallelujah.

00:36:54.106 --> 00:37:04.271
So this thing was passing away and the glory that came on Moses was a type and a shadow of that Amen.

00:37:04.271 --> 00:37:07.541
It came upon him, but it was a reflected glory.

00:37:07.541 --> 00:37:11.340
It did not contain the glory of God, it reflected the glory of God.

00:37:11.340 --> 00:37:15.871
That's why it could not bring life, but it could only bring death.

00:37:15.871 --> 00:37:25.978
Because it could not bring life, but it could only bring death because it was not a container, it was just a reflector and it was fading.

00:37:28.990 --> 00:37:35.184
Now the Jews listen, the Jews, without knowing it, knew it.

00:37:35.184 --> 00:37:40.577
So what did they do as it started to fade away?

00:37:40.577 --> 00:37:41.420
What did they do?

00:37:41.420 --> 00:37:42.896
They added more to it.

00:37:42.896 --> 00:37:48.619
So now we've got the first five books plus some commentaries.

00:37:48.619 --> 00:37:56.760
Oh, wait a minute, the commentaries got old, so we'll add some more commentaries, then some more commentaries, then some more commentaries, then some more, and then some more, and then some more, and then some more.

00:37:56.760 --> 00:38:01.353
Finally, god got so tired of it, he didn't talk to them for 500 years.

00:38:01.353 --> 00:38:08.532
Then he still added some more commentaries about why God was silent, like they actually knew something.

00:38:08.532 --> 00:38:11.541
Praise the Lord.

00:38:14.630 --> 00:38:24.414
Now, the reason they couldn't see it and the reason they couldn't see it and the reason they couldn't see what was really happening.

00:38:24.414 --> 00:38:27.239
They couldn't even look upon this reflected glory.

00:38:27.239 --> 00:38:41.949
They had to hide themselves from it and hide Moses away, because their minds verse 14, their minds were blinded.

00:38:41.949 --> 00:38:42.833
How did that happen?

00:38:42.833 --> 00:38:45.550
Were their minds blinded by seeing Moses?

00:38:45.550 --> 00:38:57.000
No, their minds were blinded because they refused the voice and they refused the glory that descended upon the mountain.

00:38:57.000 --> 00:39:03.581
When they refused that, when they said to Moses Moses, you go up.

00:39:05.047 --> 00:39:05.829
We don't want to go up.

00:39:05.829 --> 00:39:06.992
We don't want to hear this voice.

00:39:06.992 --> 00:39:08.516
We're not interested in hearing this voice.

00:39:08.516 --> 00:39:10.190
We certainly don't want trumpets.

00:39:10.190 --> 00:39:11.815
We don't hate, we hate trumpets.

00:39:11.815 --> 00:39:13.097
We don't like trumpets.

00:39:13.097 --> 00:39:16.657
We don't want thunder, we don't like lightning, we don't want smoke, we don't want earthquakes, we don't want.

00:39:16.657 --> 00:39:19.088
We don't like trumpets, we don't want thunder, we don't like lightning, we don't want smoke, we don't want earthquakes.

00:39:19.088 --> 00:39:21.335
We don't want voice, we don't want angels singing.

00:39:21.335 --> 00:39:26.681
No, we don't want to do that.

00:39:26.681 --> 00:39:28.735
We want you to do that.

00:39:28.735 --> 00:39:29.358
You go up.

00:39:29.358 --> 00:39:37.938
Never mind that he went up for 80 days and came back with this reflected glory on his skin.

00:39:37.938 --> 00:39:40.038
They weren't even moved by that, they didn't care.

00:39:40.038 --> 00:39:43.737
They were just glad that they didn't have to go up.

00:39:43.737 --> 00:39:49.137
That was an immediate death sentence.

00:39:49.137 --> 00:40:00.199
Every person that put that kind of confession on their lips died in the wilderness before they crossed over the River Jordan.

00:40:00.199 --> 00:40:08.981
It not only blinded their natural eyes so that they couldn't see Moses in his glory, but it blinded their spiritual eyes.

00:40:08.981 --> 00:40:11.498
It blinded their spiritual understanding.

00:40:11.498 --> 00:40:13.614
And folks listen.

00:40:14.659 --> 00:40:23.958
The book of Hebrews, using the context for this in chapter 12, the context of this moment I will hold on.

00:40:23.958 --> 00:40:31.942
There are a handful of moments in history, according to the Word of God, that changed everything, and this is one of them.

00:40:31.942 --> 00:40:49.762
Them, the backdrop in Hebrews, chapter 12, uses this example and the end of that little thought section by Paul in the Holy Ghost is don't refuse him who speaks.

00:40:49.762 --> 00:40:56.034
The bottom line of all of this don't refuse him who speaks.

00:40:56.034 --> 00:41:13.693
Just don't do that, because what happened to the children of Israel is they refused him who spoke and they refused the manifestation of the glory and their minds were darkened and blinded.

00:41:13.693 --> 00:41:24.706
Now, if you think for one second that that happened to Israel and it hasn't happened to anybody else again, you need to reconsider who your God is.

00:41:24.706 --> 00:41:40.835
Because if he dealt with Israel this way, because they refused his voice, then why would he repeat himself in the New Testament and the book of Hebrews, repeat the whole story and then bottom line, it was saying refuse not him who speaks.

00:41:40.835 --> 00:41:44.853
Why would he do that?

00:41:44.853 --> 00:41:46.838
Because it can happen.

00:41:46.940 --> 00:41:54.398
Today, everybody is still confronted with appearing before two mountains.

00:41:54.398 --> 00:42:09.139
You either appear before Mount Sinai, which is Hagar, which is death, which is the old covenant, or you appear before Mount Zion, which is the holy new Jerusalem, which is Sarah, which is eternal covenant.

00:42:09.139 --> 00:42:14.219
I'm not making this up, this is right out of the book of Galatians.

00:42:14.219 --> 00:42:17.757
I'm not making this up, this is right out of the book of Galatians.

00:42:17.757 --> 00:42:18.699
You still got that.

00:42:18.699 --> 00:42:26.440
Everybody, everybody that comes to Jesus, is going to present themselves before one of those two mountains.

00:42:26.440 --> 00:42:31.057
Remember the time for this.

00:42:31.057 --> 00:42:32.735
Moses stood before the two mountains.

00:42:32.735 --> 00:42:46.309
One of them was green and vibrant, the other one was dead and bald and he said choose for yourself this day life or death.

00:42:46.309 --> 00:42:46.710
What do you want?

00:42:46.710 --> 00:42:54.483
That choice is still in front of all of the people of God in this dispensation, in the time after Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection.

00:42:54.483 --> 00:42:56.195
That choice is still here.

00:42:56.195 --> 00:43:21.632
You're going to either prostrate yourself before Mount Sinai and refuse him who speaks, or you're going to bow your knee at Mount Zion, the city of the great king, and you're going to receive every word that he speaks and be transformed by it.

00:43:21.632 --> 00:43:22.954
There's only those two choices.

00:43:22.954 --> 00:43:24.077
You don't have another choice.

00:43:28.023 --> 00:43:37.521
Most Christians, most Christians, try to shuttle back and forth.

00:43:37.521 --> 00:43:47.760
They want to go over to Mount Zion because they know that they can feel real spiritual over there.

00:43:47.760 --> 00:44:07.023
But the music's better over at Sinai and they have quicker services and they got nicer church buildings and pastors real friendly and they got a McDonald's in the lobby.

00:44:07.023 --> 00:44:22.577
I mean, listen to me If you can see this in the spirit, this same thing is being replayed over and over and over.

00:44:22.577 --> 00:44:25.715
The core of it is we don't want to hear this.

00:44:25.715 --> 00:44:28.313
God, you go up and hear for us.

00:44:28.313 --> 00:44:35.621
We don't want to experience this glory and we would prefer, pastor, that you don't either.

00:44:35.621 --> 00:44:41.353
And don't go too far up that mountain, because you'll bring down something that we can't understand.

00:44:41.353 --> 00:44:44.311
That doesn't fit into our conventional ways of thinking.

00:44:44.311 --> 00:44:46.800
So don't go too far up and don't bring too much glory.

00:44:46.800 --> 00:44:50.516
Matter of fact, it'd be better if you want to be one of the guys.

00:44:50.516 --> 00:44:53.978
Just not bring anybody any of it back, because we don't want none of that glory either.

00:44:55.311 --> 00:45:01.844
And refusing those two things puts you in this place of a darkened mind.

00:45:01.844 --> 00:45:05.539
You are literally spiritually blind.

00:45:05.539 --> 00:45:17.503
I don't care who they are and I don't care what they say, and I don't care what their bylaws say, and I don't care what they profess to do, and that doesn't make any difference to me.

00:45:17.503 --> 00:45:38.306
Fact of the matter is, when you reject the voice and you reject the glory, you put a death sentence on your life to be spiritually blind, spiritually dumb, spiritually mute, spiritually unable to do anything for God.

00:45:38.306 --> 00:45:40.036
You are impotent.

00:45:40.036 --> 00:45:45.655
Glory to God.

00:45:47.990 --> 00:46:15.543
You know, my favorite example of this is when we were clearing out the church house and I had two, two sets of chairs that we were we had no use for, and so um and so I had one set and and up comes the guy from the little some little church next door, he's some young guy and he's early thirties.

00:46:15.543 --> 00:46:19.177
Some little church next door, he's some young guy and he's early thirties.

00:46:19.177 --> 00:46:21.641
And uh, and I, and he said, how much do you want for those chairs?

00:46:21.641 --> 00:46:30.480
I said, well, I think it was about 120 of them.

00:46:30.480 --> 00:46:32.869
I'll sell them for, you know, $300.

00:46:32.869 --> 00:46:35.844
He said that's a fair price.

00:46:35.788 --> 00:46:36.425
I think that I might be missing the money exactly, I don't know.

00:46:36.425 --> 00:46:37.188
Might have been 250.

00:46:37.188 --> 00:46:38.596
Wasn't anything over 300.

00:46:38.596 --> 00:46:42.878
I'm talking about impotence.

00:46:42.878 --> 00:46:51.798
He said I have to go back and consult the elders of the church about this purchase.

00:46:51.798 --> 00:46:54.213
I said, well, you just go ahead and do that, sonny.

00:46:54.213 --> 00:46:59.637
You just go back and find out whether they'll let you spend $300.

00:46:59.637 --> 00:47:04.014
And he walked away and I said, dear God, I'd have reached in my.

00:47:04.014 --> 00:47:05.027
I said there's not.

00:47:05.088 --> 00:47:09.311
A day goes by, I don't have that much more and a lot more in my pocket.

00:47:09.311 --> 00:47:20.324
I whipped out $300 bills and called somebody up, let's get these moving.

00:47:20.324 --> 00:47:35.394
So anyway, here comes, here comes his elders and whatnot later with the money and a truck and and and we're ordering him around like he was a servant and he was loading those, those, uh, those chairs up and everything else, and I thought there is something wrong with this picture.

00:47:35.394 --> 00:47:47.079
I guarantee you he's not climbing up, zion, he's not going up for a dose of glory, he's going up for a paycheck.

00:47:47.079 --> 00:47:53.675
He's not going up for a dose of glory, he's going up for a paycheck.

00:47:53.695 --> 00:47:55.277
I thought you ought to be ashamed of yourself.

00:47:55.277 --> 00:48:05.164
You ought to be ashamed of yourself that you can't make that decision and you can't just whip out $300 bills and walk off with the chairs.

00:48:05.164 --> 00:48:08.045
You ought to be ashamed of yourself calling yourself a preacher.

00:48:08.045 --> 00:48:12.690
Walk off with the chairs.

00:48:12.690 --> 00:48:16.492
You ought to be ashamed of yourself calling yourself a preacher, but you got to go consult somebody on a $300.

00:48:16.492 --> 00:48:20.456
Now if it was $3,000 or something like that, okay, I can understand.

00:48:20.456 --> 00:48:22.757
You know somebody, you know what are you doing.

00:48:22.757 --> 00:48:30.063
You know, maybe they just bought the grand piano and you know, want $10,000.

00:48:30.063 --> 00:48:37.494
I can understand that I wouldn't do it, but I can understand it.

00:48:37.494 --> 00:48:38.922
But $300?

00:48:38.922 --> 00:48:44.733
Really, talking about impotence?

00:48:44.733 --> 00:48:52.045
Because they're not spiritually minded, they are not.

00:48:52.065 --> 00:49:00.260
When you reject the voice and you reject the glory, you have become impotent to do anything spiritually.

00:49:00.260 --> 00:49:16.865
And I don't care who you are, and neither does God Doesn't put a premium on how big your church is, how fancy your suit is, how big your entourage is, who you get to minister to, who you're on TV with it does.

00:49:16.865 --> 00:49:20.746
That kind of stuff Doesn't move God one bit.

00:49:20.746 --> 00:49:29.811
God's looking for a people who will hear His voice and be containers and distributors of His glory.

00:49:29.811 --> 00:49:30.869
That's what he wants.

00:49:30.869 --> 00:49:35.164
The more you do it, the more you'll be transformed.

00:49:35.164 --> 00:49:38.135
The less you do it, the more spiritually blind you'll be.

00:49:43.168 --> 00:49:47.795
This is why I'm trying to be real with you tonight and help you.

00:49:47.795 --> 00:49:58.795
This is why you run into people all the time who think they know something about the things of God, and they know absolutely nothing, but they're thoroughly convinced that they're experts.

00:49:58.795 --> 00:50:07.735
Why would you do that if you're spiritually blind?

00:50:07.735 --> 00:50:10.728
There's a whole lot better things to do on Sunday than go to church if you're spiritually blind.

00:50:10.728 --> 00:50:12.458
I mean, there's a whole lot better things to do on Sunday than go to church.

00:50:12.458 --> 00:50:14.284
When you're spiritually blind, what are you going to do?

00:50:14.284 --> 00:50:19.050
Go with a bunch of other blind people and lead each other around?

00:50:19.050 --> 00:50:25.572
Huh, and that's what you know.

00:50:25.572 --> 00:50:26.396
I don't need to go.

00:50:27.927 --> 00:50:31.786
I can get together with God out on the fishing boat I never saw.

00:50:31.786 --> 00:50:34.192
I've been fishing, you know.

00:50:34.192 --> 00:50:36.797
I've been fishing so much I quit fishing.

00:50:36.797 --> 00:50:45.217
How much you have to fish until you quit get tired of fishing on a permanent basis.

00:50:45.217 --> 00:50:49.972
I've been fishing, don't you know?

00:50:49.972 --> 00:50:51.376
I know something about fishing.

00:50:51.376 --> 00:50:54.172
I may not know everything about it, but I know something about it.

00:50:54.172 --> 00:50:56.750
And I've caught a pair of fish and I quit fishing.

00:50:56.750 --> 00:50:57.934
I just got tired of fishing.

00:50:58.958 --> 00:51:01.945
You know, I never saw anybody worshiping God out there.

00:51:01.945 --> 00:51:07.114
I saw a lot of people drinking beer and alcohol and swearing and falling off of boats.

00:51:07.114 --> 00:51:13.507
Same way on a golf course.

00:51:13.507 --> 00:51:15.472
I'm going to go out and worship God on the golf course.

00:51:15.472 --> 00:51:16.916
I don't see nobody doing that.

00:51:16.916 --> 00:51:21.987
I hear people swearing all the way across three or four holes.

00:51:21.987 --> 00:51:25.215
I go, dear Lord, that don't sound like church to me.

00:51:25.215 --> 00:51:29.695
Hallelujah, praise God.

00:51:29.695 --> 00:51:35.246
Oh, they were taking up an offering on the 18th hall.

00:51:35.246 --> 00:51:36.050
I missed it.

00:51:36.050 --> 00:51:40.409
Glory to God.

00:51:40.409 --> 00:51:49.170
Well, I won't go there.

00:51:49.170 --> 00:51:55.538
Praise God, verse 14.

00:51:57.471 --> 00:52:03.005
But their eyes were blinded for until this day.

00:52:03.005 --> 00:52:04.092
What day is that?

00:52:04.092 --> 00:52:06.751
What day is that?

00:52:06.751 --> 00:52:11.952
Well, in this context, it is the day of Israel's visitation.

00:52:11.952 --> 00:52:16.190
Are you hearing what I'm saying?

00:52:16.190 --> 00:52:18.429
This is the first Pentecost.

00:52:20.137 --> 00:52:33.869
This was 50 days after they left Egypt and they came across by the mighty hand of God, crossed the Red Sea vanquished, the enemy of Egypt came out.

00:52:33.869 --> 00:52:47.596
Moses brought them to this mountain and for this appointed day, god commanded a three-day fast, commanded them to clean themselves, keep away from their wives.

00:52:47.596 --> 00:52:57.307
He did all these commandments and then they were to present themselves to receive this impartation of the Word of God and His glory.

00:52:57.307 --> 00:53:01.047
It was the day of their visitation.

00:53:01.047 --> 00:53:02.871
See, god hadn't done this before.

00:53:02.871 --> 00:53:07.273
They had a cloud and they had fire, but they didn't have this awesome presence.

00:53:07.735 --> 00:53:10.355
You need to try to get a hold of what happened.

00:53:10.355 --> 00:53:13.067
God brought heaven down to earth.

00:53:13.067 --> 00:53:26.771
An innumerable company of angels, vast powers of God, god on His throne, came down from heaven and put His throne on Mount Sinai.

00:53:26.771 --> 00:53:29.128
There were thunderings, there were lightnings.

00:53:29.128 --> 00:53:29.289
There.

00:53:29.289 --> 00:53:41.168
Sinai there were thunderings, there were lightnings, there was earthquakes, there was rumblings, there was the strikings of lightnings and angels by the multiplied millions sounding trumpets.

00:53:41.168 --> 00:53:45.157
Can you imagine what that sounded like, what that felt like?

00:53:45.157 --> 00:53:46.889
The earth was trembling.

00:53:46.889 --> 00:53:50.519
I mean, god had to put a boundary in Mountain to Mountain.

00:53:50.519 --> 00:53:54.574
He said don't come any closer to that, because if you come any closer than that you're going to die.

00:53:54.574 --> 00:54:00.746
That wasn't just God saying you can't cross that line because I'll strike you dead.

00:54:00.746 --> 00:54:01.387
It was.

00:54:01.387 --> 00:54:05.489
If you came any closer to that with all that going on, you couldn't make it.

00:54:05.489 --> 00:54:07.815
That was just too much.

00:54:08.505 --> 00:54:11.375
The Bible says even Moses trembled in his shoes.

00:54:11.375 --> 00:54:19.655
He said I am very afraid because nobody had ever seen anything like this.

00:54:19.655 --> 00:54:22.951
Listen to me, people.

00:54:22.951 --> 00:54:40.097
Israel had believed in a God that had spoken to Abraham and had spoken to Isaac and had spoken to Jacob and had not spoken to anybody else for several generations.

00:54:40.097 --> 00:54:56.815
They were believing a God that had spoken 400 years ago, that had spoken 400 years ago and had brought Jacob out of a famine and into Egypt by the hand of Joseph.

00:54:56.815 --> 00:55:00.614
And they knew these stories, amen.

00:55:00.614 --> 00:55:04.351
But they hadn't had a God that spoke to them.

00:55:04.351 --> 00:55:09.876
They would cry out to this God in Egypt but, as far as they could tell, nobody was listening.

00:55:09.876 --> 00:55:20.932
You don't think that they had started borrowing the Egyptian gods, the calves, the idols, the things like that, and started to worship them?

00:55:20.932 --> 00:55:23.853
Oh my God, I wish I could preach.

00:55:23.853 --> 00:55:41.657
Do you not know, folks, that almost every one of the plagues was directed at one of the principal deities of Egypt and that the children of Israel had gone over and started to worship them?

00:55:41.657 --> 00:55:50.657
And God was purging that out of his people and out of the country by his mighty right arm.

00:55:50.657 --> 00:55:55.755
Oh God, hallelujah, I'm starting to feel the Holy Ghost.

00:55:55.755 --> 00:56:04.476
And God was dealing with this and he was bringing his people out, but he's bringing them out clean.

00:56:07.306 --> 00:56:09.929
But in all of that God hadn't showed up.

00:56:09.929 --> 00:56:16.697
He sent Moses, moses raised his staff, things happened, but God hadn't showed up.

00:56:16.697 --> 00:56:21.157
An angel of death showed up, but God hadn't showed up.

00:56:21.157 --> 00:56:24.594
The Red Sea parted, but God hadn't showed up.

00:56:24.594 --> 00:56:31.998
There was a fire by night and a cloud by day, but God hadn't really shown up yet.

00:56:31.998 --> 00:56:54.052
But on the day of Pentecost, when the day of Pentecost had fully come and they were all together in one accord, there came a sound from heaven like a rushing, mighty wind.

00:56:54.052 --> 00:56:56.646
Happened.

00:56:56.646 --> 00:57:03.574
Then happened 1,500 years later, almost down to the minute.

00:57:03.574 --> 00:57:14.838
He had a people that would not heed His voice.

00:57:14.838 --> 00:57:17.532
3,000 died that day.

00:57:17.532 --> 00:57:19.853
How many were saved at the day of Pentecost?

00:57:19.853 --> 00:57:23.172
You don't think God keeps score.

00:57:23.172 --> 00:57:28.215
Glory to Jesus, hallelujah.

00:57:28.215 --> 00:57:33.217
Because he had a people that would hear his voice and be filled with his glory.

00:57:37.146 --> 00:57:40.014
So Israel missed the day of their visitation.

00:57:40.014 --> 00:57:57.856
You see, the Jews look at that first Pentecost and they say that was the day that God showed His glory to His people and he gave them the blessing and the glory of the law.

00:57:57.856 --> 00:58:13.067
But the fact of the matter is, from our point of view, is that on that day he assembled His people and they rejected His voice, they rejected His glory and he gave them the law as a curse for their disobedience.

00:58:13.067 --> 00:58:21.007
And as soon as he gave them the law, with his glory, it started to dissipate and disappear.

00:58:21.007 --> 00:58:24.588
So Paul said that which was glorious.

00:58:24.588 --> 00:58:32.826
The law doesn't exceed in any way the glory of the gospel, because that glory was going away.

00:58:32.826 --> 00:58:36.115
But the glory of the gospel remains.

00:58:36.115 --> 00:58:37.469
It's never going to go away.

00:58:37.469 --> 00:58:41.750
They missed the day of the visitation.

00:58:41.990 --> 00:58:45.088
Do you not remember Jesus In the book of Luke?

00:58:45.088 --> 00:58:47.795
He was sitting on the Mount of Olives and he's looking over Jerusalem.

00:58:47.795 --> 00:59:00.215
He said O Jerusalem, o Jerusalem, how I would have gathered your children together as a hen gathers a brood, but you would not because you did not know the hour of your visitation.

00:59:00.215 --> 00:59:10.978
See, god came down from heaven to sit on Mount Sinai and minister His glory to His people.

00:59:10.978 --> 00:59:18.271
And Jesus, 1,500 years later, came down from heaven onto Mount Zion.

00:59:18.271 --> 00:59:23.637
Oh, I wish I could preach this and poured out His glory.

00:59:23.637 --> 00:59:29.978
That will never go away.

00:59:29.978 --> 01:00:07.759
Praise God Now, until the day of your visitation, paul wrote this the same veil that was on Moses remains unlifted on everyone who reads the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away only in Christ.

01:00:10.545 --> 01:00:11.690
Now here's one of these things.

01:00:11.690 --> 01:00:14.751
Religion teaches you this.

01:00:14.751 --> 01:00:21.329
Well, bless God, as soon as you get saved, you can understand that Bible, because that veil is taken away.

01:00:21.329 --> 01:00:22.534
That's not what it says.

01:00:22.534 --> 01:00:26.211
That's not at all what it says.

01:00:26.211 --> 01:00:33.753
It says this the veil remains unlifted in the reading of the written word.

01:00:33.753 --> 01:00:38.864
The only Bible that was in existence in Paul's day was the Old Testament.

01:00:38.864 --> 01:00:42.380
Amen.

01:00:42.380 --> 01:00:44.748
What did he say just a few verses before?

01:00:44.748 --> 01:00:48.586
The letter does what Kills.

01:00:48.586 --> 01:00:51.173
The spirit gives life.

01:00:51.173 --> 01:00:52.858
The letter does what Kills.

01:00:52.858 --> 01:00:53.961
The spirit gives life.

01:00:53.961 --> 01:00:54.443
The letter does what?

01:00:54.443 --> 01:00:55.204
The letter of what?

01:00:55.204 --> 01:01:01.092
The law, the letter of the written word of God.

01:01:04.918 --> 01:01:22.012
I don't care how many times you read this New Testament, if you don't have the spirit of God, if you haven't been filled with His Spirit, filled with His glory and hearkening unto the voice of the Spirit, to understand it, you're just reading written words.

01:01:22.012 --> 01:01:34.775
That's why people that believe that and that's their whole belief system is that it's all here and nothing else is here.

01:01:34.775 --> 01:01:56.853
People that believe that minister a ministry of condemnation because they'll take one scripture and beat people over the head with it without putting it in any context, nor putting it into the context of understanding the spirit about it.

01:01:56.853 --> 01:02:05.583
Amen, amen.

01:02:05.583 --> 01:02:18.237
They'll take one scripture be ye not drunk with wine into excess, and it'll build a whole about not drinking.

01:02:18.237 --> 01:02:30.291
I'm not a drinker and I don't believe I should drink, but you're going to have a hard time proving that from the Bible that everybody should not drink.

01:02:30.291 --> 01:02:41.407
But you're going to have a hard time proving that from the Bible that everybody should not drink, you shouldn't drink to excess, you shouldn't be drunk, and people have gone on to set an example and there's all kinds of things like that.

01:02:41.407 --> 01:02:52.217
Why would you want to participate with something that causes mass murder on a scale that's unbelievable, drunk driving and demolished families and who knows what else?

01:02:52.217 --> 01:02:56.293
I mean, I'm all for that, but you're not going to prove it by the Bible.

01:02:56.293 --> 01:03:09.356
But I'm sure people will just beat you over the head, you know, and say you know, well, bless God, you take one drink of beer, you're going to hell.

01:03:09.356 --> 01:03:13.871
You know and say well, bless God, you take one drink of beer, you're going to hell.

01:03:13.871 --> 01:03:13.960
It's hot in that hell.

01:03:13.960 --> 01:03:31.478
You better put that bud dumber down and just go on and on and on and on and on Making up stuff, heaping condemnation on people because they're just going with the letter and not the Spirit.

01:03:31.478 --> 01:03:34.472
The letter kills and I don't care where you're reading it from.

01:03:34.472 --> 01:03:45.092
You don't think about stuff like that until somebody brings it out.

01:03:46.094 --> 01:03:55.134
Why do you think that it's like that in the denominations and the part of the Christian experience that only does this?

01:03:55.134 --> 01:03:59.556
This is it, and they don't even do a very good job at that.

01:03:59.556 --> 01:04:13.777
They've got their people on a once-a-year reading program when they ought to just dispense with the Old Testament and read the New Testament until Jesus comes and then let Him explain the Old, you know.

01:04:13.777 --> 01:04:22.048
Or read this enough and get in the Spirit enough that he can explain the Old to you.

01:04:22.048 --> 01:04:23.092
Then it'll make sense to you.

01:04:23.092 --> 01:04:26.672
But you've got people on this once a year reading program.

01:04:26.672 --> 01:04:27.496
Nobody's going to do that, you know.

01:04:27.496 --> 01:04:28.842
But you got people on this once a year reading program.

01:04:28.842 --> 01:04:29.585
Nobody's going to do that, you know.

01:04:29.585 --> 01:04:39.677
I mean they get in there and some of that heavy stuff of the begats that goes on for three chapters in Chronicles and stuff like that.

01:04:39.677 --> 01:04:42.574
I mean that's worse than watching paint dry.

01:04:42.574 --> 01:04:46.056
I mean glory to God.

01:04:46.056 --> 01:04:47.530
You'd be three o'clock in the morning reading that.

01:04:47.530 --> 01:04:48.630
Oh help me.

01:04:48.630 --> 01:04:55.746
Jesus, hallelujah, praise the Lord.

01:04:55.746 --> 01:05:01.190
I shouldn't make fun, but the point is, the letter kills and the spirit gives life.

01:05:01.853 --> 01:05:18.228
And it's still true, and it will always be true, that the early church that transformed the world did not have a written Bible for three or four decades, just the way.

01:05:18.228 --> 01:05:31.474
Abraham had no written Bible, isaac, jacob, moses, until he wrote it, noah didn't have one, enoch didn't have one and he passed death and didn't even see it.

01:05:31.474 --> 01:05:37.688
Nobody had a written Bible, but we're the God.

01:05:37.688 --> 01:05:39.954
And yet they all made it.

01:05:39.954 --> 01:05:50.614
They made it into chapter 11 of Hebrews, hallelujah and the early church people.

01:05:50.614 --> 01:05:52.472
They didn't have a written Bible.

01:05:54.626 --> 01:06:10.565
But when it got written and when it got formalized, then the church began to lapse into the same thing that the Jews did, and they put a high premium on that which was written and a low premium on that which was written and a low premium on that which was spoken.

01:06:10.565 --> 01:06:14.896
And God said nope, that's not how it works.

01:06:14.896 --> 01:06:20.376
It is the spoken word that gives the authority to that which is written.

01:06:20.376 --> 01:06:32.117
If there was not listen to me if there was not John, chapter 1, there would be no authority for any of the Bible.

01:06:32.117 --> 01:06:40.987
But John, chapter 1, says in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.

01:06:40.987 --> 01:06:42.753
He was in the beginning with God.

01:06:42.753 --> 01:06:47.431
Same was in the beginning with God.

01:06:47.431 --> 01:06:49.028
You know.

01:06:49.028 --> 01:06:57.132
That establishes that before anything, there was a word that came out of the mouth of God and came out of his heart.

01:06:57.132 --> 01:07:12.177
That gives authority to everything that happens, including the written word, which is what he put down for everyone to know him and come to know Him.

01:07:12.177 --> 01:07:18.873
These things are written that you might believe and believing have life in His name.

01:07:18.873 --> 01:07:24.275
But that's not the only thing that comes out of God's mouth.

01:07:24.275 --> 01:07:28.594
This is just for that purpose.

01:07:28.594 --> 01:07:30.206
Amen.

01:07:30.788 --> 01:07:43.512
There's a whole lot of other purpose in God Destiny direction specifics, how to raise money, how to do this, all the things that's not in the Bible.

01:07:43.512 --> 01:07:49.389
Because we don't listen to God would somebody help me here?

01:07:49.389 --> 01:08:03.005
Because we don't listen to God, because we don't listen to God on how to finance things, we end up having chicken dinners and fish fries and weenie roasts and everything else, trying to make a nickel and a dime to get the kingdom of God going.

01:08:03.005 --> 01:08:08.918
You know what came out of the mouth of God.

01:08:08.918 --> 01:08:11.920
Take an offering from the Egyptians and take all of their.

01:08:11.920 --> 01:08:17.171
You know what came out of the mouth of God Take an offering from the Egyptians and take all of their jewelry.

01:08:17.171 --> 01:08:18.332
See, god was so smart.

01:08:18.332 --> 01:08:19.314
He didn't, you know.

01:08:19.314 --> 01:08:25.449
He just said hey, go take an offering from them, they're going to pay you to get out of here.

01:08:25.449 --> 01:08:32.452
You just watch and see Now.

01:08:32.452 --> 01:08:40.439
See, slaves would not normally have done that, but God spoke, moses commanded, and they received an offering that finally, moses said that's enough.

01:08:40.439 --> 01:08:50.252
When they finally brought it over and they started to build the temple and everybody brought their stuff this was after they built the calf they brought their stuff and Moses said that's enough, we got more, more to use.

01:08:50.252 --> 01:08:54.210
When has that happened lately?

01:08:54.210 --> 01:09:08.854
Just because they obeyed the Word of the Lord, the spoken Word of God, because there's no place in the Bible that tells you to do that.

01:09:08.854 --> 01:09:20.497
Oh hallelujah, the veil is only taken away in Christ.

01:09:20.497 --> 01:09:24.956
It's not taken away to those that are going in and out.

01:09:24.956 --> 01:09:32.845
Remember the difference Been over this more times than I can count.

01:09:32.886 --> 01:09:44.114
John, chapter 10, says my sheep come in, they go out, they find pasture and they are saved.

01:09:44.114 --> 01:09:49.512
And that is the standard vanilla Christian experience.

01:09:49.512 --> 01:09:55.712
They get saved, they start to get fed and they go in and they go out.

01:09:55.712 --> 01:09:58.153
They go in and they go out.

01:09:58.153 --> 01:10:03.030
One day they're more saved than another and they have all these issues.

01:10:03.030 --> 01:10:07.952
I have issues, I have so many issues.

01:10:07.952 --> 01:10:11.268
I have so many issues.

01:10:11.268 --> 01:10:14.411
I have issues, but Jesus is helping me with my issues.

01:10:16.140 --> 01:10:18.672
You know, that's just an in and out person.

01:10:18.672 --> 01:10:23.145
They go to in and out burgers, you know they just they eat there a lot.

01:10:23.145 --> 01:10:30.453
They just go in and out, in and out, in and out, in and out, and hey, you know that's the way most sheep are.

01:10:30.453 --> 01:10:40.015
You know, but the destiny of every sheep is to be transformed into a son of God.

01:10:40.015 --> 01:10:44.171
That's your destiny.

01:10:44.171 --> 01:10:57.716
Your destiny is not to stay out there and eating pasture and eating at the In-N-Out Burger Place and just, you know, you know saying hallelujah and I'm just so glad that Jesus set me free, and you know and and all that.

01:10:57.716 --> 01:10:59.057
You know that's great.

01:10:59.057 --> 01:11:13.466
You know it's great to do that for a year or two years, get with the program, you know, but they don't.

01:11:13.466 --> 01:11:16.051
They stay in and out, in and out, because nobody is a son of God that they're in any close proximity to.

01:11:16.051 --> 01:11:19.359
That will teach them that he needs to transformation.

01:11:20.365 --> 01:11:23.332
Only sons and daughters of God can do that.

01:11:23.332 --> 01:11:32.097
Only mature sons and daughters who have been through the fire of process with the Lord can teach other people how to get into the oven.

01:11:32.097 --> 01:11:35.233
You know and you go.

01:11:35.233 --> 01:11:37.210
Well, get in the oven and not get burned.

01:11:37.210 --> 01:11:38.676
No, get in the oven and not die.

01:11:38.676 --> 01:11:41.628
You will get burned, you know.

01:11:41.628 --> 01:11:43.836
Hopefully, when you come out you won't stink.

01:11:43.836 --> 01:11:46.247
You know, but you'll be.

01:11:46.247 --> 01:11:51.033
You know, but you know you'll be.

01:11:51.033 --> 01:11:51.635
You know, listen folks.

01:11:51.635 --> 01:11:55.260
You know you've listened to too many Shadrach, meshach and Abednego songs.

01:11:55.260 --> 01:12:03.631
You know that was a type and a shadow, but in the sons and daughters of God that go through the affliction process, amen, listen to me.

01:12:03.631 --> 01:12:05.851
Malachi is your theme song.

01:12:05.851 --> 01:12:08.092
Malachi is your theme song.

01:12:08.092 --> 01:12:14.797
You're going to be purified with fire until it just comes off.

01:12:15.646 --> 01:12:19.697
Over to God, hallelujah, and you won't go out anymore.

01:12:19.697 --> 01:12:26.393
See, revelations tells me that there's a place where you come in and you stay in.

01:12:26.393 --> 01:12:30.131
You don't go out anymore, hallelujah.

01:12:30.131 --> 01:12:41.750
Now, those are the sons of God that have learned to be kept by the power of God and learned to be kept by this voice and by His glory.

01:12:41.750 --> 01:12:43.735
They don't want to go out.

01:12:43.735 --> 01:12:46.028
They don't want.

01:12:46.028 --> 01:12:50.878
They don't want to go out, amen.

01:12:50.878 --> 01:12:52.971
Because they're not that anymore.

01:12:52.971 --> 01:12:54.872
They're not sheep anymore.

01:12:54.872 --> 01:13:02.212
They've been transformed to a different level of experience and in that experience you don't go out.

01:13:02.212 --> 01:13:10.095
Now that doesn't mean you go to a monastery or someplace and just hide out, but your spirit stays connected.

01:13:10.095 --> 01:13:13.127
You don't go out unless he goes out.

01:13:13.127 --> 01:13:15.454
If he wants to go out, you go out.

01:13:16.725 --> 01:13:30.353
If he says come on, you go, hallelujah, and only in him, like that, is the veil taken away.

01:13:30.353 --> 01:13:42.198
And when that veil is taken away, you better look out, because the Scriptures will do things that you have never seen them do before.

01:13:42.198 --> 01:13:47.069
You'll hear God.

01:13:47.069 --> 01:13:56.377
I've heard God do this, I've heard God do this and it is just such a wonderful thing to start singing scriptures over me.

01:13:56.377 --> 01:14:04.855
And they're not continuous scriptures, They'll just be one thought here, another thought here, another thought here, another thought here, another thought here.

01:14:04.855 --> 01:14:09.507
He pulls those scriptures together into His thought.

01:14:09.507 --> 01:14:15.975
It doesn't matter to him that they occurred hundreds of years apart and were written by a different man.

01:14:15.975 --> 01:14:21.188
That matters to us when we see the Bible as a linear document.

01:14:21.188 --> 01:14:22.511
Amen.

01:14:22.511 --> 01:14:23.695
That doesn't matter to God.

01:14:24.585 --> 01:14:32.436
God can pull something out of Revelation as easy as he can pull out of Genesis, tie them together, put a bow on it and say have you considered that?

01:14:32.436 --> 01:14:44.710
And sometimes he just speaks it into you and doesn't even ask you to consider it, he just pours it into you.

01:14:44.710 --> 01:15:04.877
But you've got to stick around for that veil to come off and you start to experience something that will not pass away, it will not disappear, it will not lose its power, it will not lose its ability for transformation.

01:15:04.877 --> 01:15:25.284
I can't even begin to tell you dozens would not even be close how many times I've preached these scriptures, taught these scriptures right here in 3 and 4 of this chapter.

01:15:25.284 --> 01:15:26.891
I've got no idea.

01:15:26.891 --> 01:15:29.185
And it doesn't matter.

01:15:29.185 --> 01:15:36.591
I never preach the same thing twice, it just doesn't matter.

01:15:36.591 --> 01:15:37.890
There's no end.

01:15:37.890 --> 01:15:59.130
There's no end to the glory that the Spirit will put on, will minister to you in your understanding of these things, if you take off the veil One way to go.

01:15:59.130 --> 01:16:03.555
But even to this day what day is that?

01:16:03.555 --> 01:16:04.729
The day of visitation?

01:16:04.729 --> 01:16:29.127
Even to the day of your visitation, when the letter is read, a veil rests on your heart, unless one turns to the Lord and hears that voice and receives the ministry of glory.

01:16:32.005 --> 01:16:33.167
Are you following me?

01:16:33.167 --> 01:16:40.319
You know you can be the most devout Christian and I've known people I mean they pray you around the block.

01:16:40.319 --> 01:16:44.903
I mean they were, you know they'd shut themselves off and they'd seek God.

01:16:44.903 --> 01:16:54.814
I've known people that have prayed for revivals in places and they didn't know half of what we know, but they knew how to pray.

01:16:54.814 --> 01:16:58.570
They knew something.

01:16:58.570 --> 01:17:03.873
And I'm not saying those I'm not even going there that people are saved, unsaved, or nothing else.

01:17:03.873 --> 01:17:04.905
I don't know all that.

01:17:04.905 --> 01:17:06.130
That's way over my pay grade.

01:17:06.130 --> 01:17:07.494
I don't know none of that.

01:17:07.555 --> 01:17:09.248
God determines that.

01:17:09.248 --> 01:17:15.627
He works with people, he develops people.

01:17:15.627 --> 01:17:19.140
All I know is that you make, you make yourself spiritually blind when you will not hear his voice or receive his glory.

01:17:19.140 --> 01:17:36.055
I do know that because the bible says that, on the con, on the contrary, you will become spiritually sighted in the mind of Christ when you start hearing His voice and obeying it and walking and distributing His glory.

01:17:36.055 --> 01:17:40.565
It's as simple as that, amen.

01:17:40.565 --> 01:17:49.006
And when you take off the veil and come out of Moses and into Jesus, amen.

01:17:49.006 --> 01:17:59.074
And you can be in Moses and still be in a Christian church, because you've turned gospel into a letter of condemnation.

01:17:59.074 --> 01:18:03.850
Oh, I wish I you know, but we can do that on Sunday.

01:18:03.850 --> 01:18:06.972
I'm not going to re-preach that Letter of condemnation.

01:18:06.972 --> 01:18:07.436
Hallelujah, hallelujah.

01:18:07.436 --> 01:18:09.185
We preach that letter of condemnation, hallelujah.

01:18:09.185 --> 01:18:26.353
But this day of visitation, when Jesus visits you, when the voice visits you, when the glory visits you, hallelujah, praise God.

01:18:26.353 --> 01:18:32.911
See, when Sarah got saved, you know, the person of Jesus didn't appear in her room.

01:18:32.911 --> 01:18:35.434
The glory of Jesus appeared in her room.

01:18:35.434 --> 01:18:39.332
When I got it, the person of Jesus appeared in my room.

01:18:39.332 --> 01:18:45.532
Same Jesus, different manifestation, same result.

01:18:45.532 --> 01:18:52.740
Here we are, 50 some years later.

01:18:52.740 --> 01:18:53.783
We're still here, same result.

01:18:53.783 --> 01:18:55.448
Here we are, 50 some years later.

01:18:55.448 --> 01:18:55.789
We're still here.

01:18:55.789 --> 01:18:56.832
We're still preaching it.

01:19:01.269 --> 01:19:02.030
I told somebody the other day.

01:19:02.030 --> 01:19:04.917
I said you know, I have to apologize, I'm preaching an old message.

01:19:04.917 --> 01:19:10.907
I've been preaching this thing for 30 some years because it just doesn't get old, it doesn't pass away.

01:19:10.907 --> 01:19:15.318
I don't have to look for something new and trendy.

01:19:15.318 --> 01:19:45.990
I just, you know, I'll preach second corinthians and I'll preach hebrews, and then I'll go back and forth and stop off at galatians a little bit, and it just doesn't get old, because the veil is taken away when you turn to the Lord and His voice and His glory Listen.

01:19:46.514 --> 01:19:56.917
History would have been totally different had the people of Israel just stood there and listened.

01:19:56.917 --> 01:20:10.904
Well, that's a bottom line of all of our lives and how many will be like all of our lives and how many applies to them.

01:20:10.904 --> 01:20:13.373
To what will it be like?

01:20:13.373 --> 01:20:29.229
They had listened and produced a nation of millions, and those evangelists went out and preached a gospel of hearing God's voice and ministering in his glory.

01:20:29.229 --> 01:20:38.935
Not just Paul, not just Silas, not just Timothy, not just an innumerable.

01:20:38.935 --> 01:20:43.096
What the world would be like today?

01:20:43.096 --> 01:20:49.970
And it all goes back 3,500 years to Zion.

01:20:55.908 --> 01:20:57.875
The word of the Lord still rings out.

01:20:57.875 --> 01:21:04.131
Do not reject him who speaks.

01:21:04.131 --> 01:21:08.578
You can't.

01:21:08.578 --> 01:21:12.434
If you do, you won't be able to stand on mount zion anymore.

01:21:12.434 --> 01:21:16.467
You'll have to take up your tent and move to sign.

01:21:16.467 --> 01:21:27.755
Hang out with hagar and the spirit of death and condemnation and no spirit.

01:21:27.755 --> 01:21:34.659
Amen and no spirit.

01:21:34.659 --> 01:21:34.819
Amen.

01:21:35.832 --> 01:21:37.627
Praise the Lord, hallelujah.

01:21:37.627 --> 01:21:42.011
Glory to God.

01:21:42.011 --> 01:21:52.911
Praise God, father, open our eyes that we might see wondrous things from your word, manifestation of your glory in our day.

01:21:52.911 --> 01:21:57.690
The day of our visitation come, oh, jesus.

01:21:57.690 --> 01:22:05.774
God, you are visiting this earth and you are showing us great things, and this is a day of mighty things.

01:22:05.774 --> 01:22:16.926
This earth is shaking, weather is unpredictable, earthquakes in various places, thunderings, lightnings.

01:22:16.926 --> 01:22:20.115
You are touching this earth once again, god.

01:22:20.115 --> 01:22:41.636
Let us see the day of your visitation and turn to the word of the Lord, that we might know that day of visitation and come to that Mount Zion, an innumerable company of angels, to the church of the firstborn and the assembly of God.

01:22:41.636 --> 01:22:43.171
We give you praise Lord.

01:22:43.171 --> 01:22:44.590
We give you praise God.

01:22:44.590 --> 01:22:48.011
Hallelujah, thank you, jesus.

01:22:48.011 --> 01:22:50.889
Blessed be the name of the Lord.

01:22:50.889 --> 01:22:54.618
Amen and amen, praise God.
