00:00:00.581 --> 00:00:01.625
Well, praise God.

00:00:01.625 --> 00:00:03.830
Let's turn to Daniel, the sixth chapter.

00:00:03.830 --> 00:00:22.855
Look at another episode of one man during the Babylonian captivity of 70 years, a man named Daniel, whom the Bible says repeatedly had an excellent spirit, hallelujah.

00:00:22.855 --> 00:00:43.289
Now it says it so often that we have to pay attention to it and we have to understand that it was because of this excellent spirit that Daniel was singled out, sometimes for things that we would prefer not to go through, but at any rate he went through them and came out victorious.

00:00:43.289 --> 00:01:01.764
On the other side, every episode is a different way that Antichrist is raising up his head against the Christ, amen, and showing an aspect of how he attacks the people of God.

00:01:01.764 --> 00:01:03.167
We have to know these things.

00:01:03.167 --> 00:01:06.873
Not every attack is the same attack.

00:01:06.873 --> 00:01:09.183
If you don't understand, if you can't.

00:01:09.183 --> 00:01:20.623
In the art of war it says, if you don't know your enemy, you'll never have the chance to know yourself, because the enemy will overrun you, amen, amen.

00:01:20.623 --> 00:01:33.370
So we have to know our enemy, so that we can know how he comes and we can understand how God gets the victory in these things.

00:01:33.370 --> 00:01:38.292
Amen, in spite of what the devil is trying to do.

00:01:38.292 --> 00:01:49.677
So here we have, in chapter six, an episode that happens sometime after the Medes came into Babylon.

00:01:49.677 --> 00:02:12.436
They came in, they dried out the riverbed, they came in underneath the walls, they broke into the king's palace and in a matter of minutes, literally and with minimum bloodshed, they executed King Belshazzar, the grandson of Nebuchadnezzar.

00:02:12.436 --> 00:02:24.072
This was the king to whom the hand appeared writing on the wall and he was killed, and a man named Darius, who was a Mede, became the king over Babylon.

00:02:24.453 --> 00:02:32.387
In verse 1, it says that Darius, it pleased Darius to set over the kingdom 120 satraps.

00:02:32.387 --> 00:02:48.520
Now, a satrap is a administrator, kind of like a local judge or somebody like that, who would administer over a local region to be over the whole kingdom.

00:02:48.520 --> 00:02:55.693
Now, over these 120 satraps, the king appointed three governors.

00:02:55.693 --> 00:03:01.252
So each governor would have 40 satraps reporting to them, of whom Daniel was one.

00:03:01.252 --> 00:03:09.991
Now, not only was he one of the three, but we find out that he was the preeminent of the three.

00:03:09.991 --> 00:03:26.669
So not only was he one of the three, but he was number one of the three, and the purpose of this was so that the king would have these three governors as a buffer between the satraps and him.

00:03:26.669 --> 00:03:48.193
So 40 satraps would report to the governor and the governor would report to the king, and their purpose was that the king would suffer no loss, and we're going to find out later that that was a good purpose, because these other satraps and the king, other governors, had bad intents.

00:03:48.193 --> 00:03:50.320
Hallelujah, we'll find out.

00:03:50.320 --> 00:03:52.003
We can't believe anything they say.

00:03:52.786 --> 00:03:57.153
Verse 3 says this Daniel distinguished himself.

00:03:57.153 --> 00:04:03.524
Now, this isn't the first time that Daniel's done this, but because he has an excellent spirit, he can't help himself.

00:04:03.524 --> 00:04:11.929
I want you to understand this about Daniel Daniel did not go seeking advancement, he did not go seeking higher position.

00:04:11.929 --> 00:04:17.793
He did not go seeking the gold chain and the purple clothing and all of that.

00:04:17.793 --> 00:04:20.048
He didn't seek that kind of thing.

00:04:20.048 --> 00:04:40.567
He sought to be an excellent spirit before men, but before God, and he and he had this understanding of God that if he did that before God, god would promote him, and if he didn't promote him, he would still be an excellent spirit before God.

00:04:40.567 --> 00:04:49.644
So you can't go wrong if you conduct yourself properly before the Lord as an excellent spirit, not as an excellent man.

00:04:50.406 --> 00:04:56.074
Amen, not in the realm of men, but in the realm of the spirit.

00:04:56.074 --> 00:05:13.932
See, this is where we get confused, because we oftentimes measure our spirituality in terms of how men see it and not in terms of how God sees it, by his spirit.

00:05:13.932 --> 00:05:20.586
Jesus said it this way If you want to worship God, you're going to have to worship him in spirit and in truth, because God is spirit.

00:05:20.586 --> 00:05:25.629
Daniel did not have the Holy Ghost, but he had this revelation.

00:05:25.629 --> 00:05:28.663
See, there are people this doesn't get taught much.

00:05:28.663 --> 00:05:42.908
We've talked about this, a lot about David but there are people all through the Old Testament that kind of stepped out of the law and tried to step into the New Testament as much as they could.

00:05:42.908 --> 00:05:51.310
There were only so much that you could do, because the sacrifice, the atonement, the resurrection had not happened yet.

00:05:51.310 --> 00:05:55.747
But there was still a reality in the spirit.

00:05:55.747 --> 00:06:01.583
Prophets knew it, david knew it, moses knew it, abraham knew it.

00:06:02.848 --> 00:06:07.211
Amen, daniel definitely knew it, because the Bible keeps saying he was an excellent spirit.

00:06:07.211 --> 00:06:08.786
They didn't say he was an excellent man.

00:06:08.786 --> 00:06:10.966
They didn't say he was a great warrior.

00:06:10.966 --> 00:06:18.826
They didn't say he was, you know, athletically, you know he had great athletic prowess.

00:06:18.826 --> 00:06:20.024
They didn't say any of those things.

00:06:20.024 --> 00:06:23.571
They said he had an excellent spirit, praise God.

00:06:23.571 --> 00:06:35.651
So Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and the satraps because an excellent spirit was in him and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm.

00:06:37.524 --> 00:07:06.360
So, instead of being three governors, the king was thinking well, let you know, maybe have two governors or find another guy to take daniel's place, and they'll have to report to daniel and daniel will report to me, and then I don't have to talk to these other guys because I have such confidence in daniel that he's going to keep them straight and he's going to tell me the truth, and if I tell him to do something, he'll do it, and and I don't have to worry about it.

00:07:06.360 --> 00:07:09.108
See, that's how the king was thinking.

00:07:09.108 --> 00:07:12.622
This is exactly the same thing that happened to Joseph.

00:07:12.622 --> 00:07:21.524
Joseph was appointed as the number two man to Pharaoh in Egypt and everybody had to go through Joseph and they wanted to talk to the king.

00:07:21.524 --> 00:07:24.127
It's a good deal, amen.

00:07:25.449 --> 00:07:38.947
Except on one hand, the king is the owner of everything, right, and, on the other hand, you've got these guys down here that their only purpose in taking a position of responsibility is to get rich.

00:07:38.947 --> 00:07:44.790
They're going to tax people and they're going to pocket a little bit of every coin that comes in.

00:07:44.790 --> 00:07:48.028
Amen, they're going to take advantage of this.

00:07:48.028 --> 00:07:58.687
They're going to take advantage of that and, if they can, if they can, grease the governor's palm that they report to enough and the and the governor reports to the King.

00:07:58.687 --> 00:08:01.822
The King will never know it because all the books will be cooked.

00:08:01.822 --> 00:08:03.786
Oh, you don't think this happened.

00:08:03.786 --> 00:08:07.322
This happens everywhere, glory to God.

00:08:07.322 --> 00:08:08.764
You don't want me to get started.

00:08:08.764 --> 00:08:09.947
Hallelujah.

00:08:11.370 --> 00:08:12.531
And here comes Daniel.

00:08:12.531 --> 00:08:19.372
Doesn't have a crooked bone in his body and he wouldn't have anything to do with that.

00:08:19.372 --> 00:08:22.605
And the king knew it, and the other guys knew it too.

00:08:22.605 --> 00:08:24.470
So the governors.

00:08:24.470 --> 00:08:26.274
So here comes the plot.

00:08:26.274 --> 00:08:44.777
So the governors come in and they get together and they say, okay, let's figure out how we get rid of this Daniel guy, because as long as Daniel's here, it's going to be tough for us to pad our pockets, because Daniel doesn't have any compunction.

00:08:44.777 --> 00:08:54.363
See, his loyalty is not to the other governors and the administrators, his loyalty is the king First, loyalty to God.

00:08:54.363 --> 00:08:56.990
Then you know he's working for the king, so he's going to go.

00:08:57.029 --> 00:08:59.543
And hey, you know these two governors over here.

00:08:59.543 --> 00:09:04.081
One just bought a Mercedes and the other one just bought a Lamborghini.

00:09:04.081 --> 00:09:05.225
I'm wondering where they got that money, or in their day.

00:09:05.225 --> 00:09:06.854
You know they bought a Mercedes and the other one just bought a Lamborghini.

00:09:06.854 --> 00:09:07.677
I'm wondering where they got that money.

00:09:07.677 --> 00:09:15.962
Or in their day, you know, they bought a Mercedes version chariot and this one bought, you know, four championship horses, you know, and a new palace.

00:09:15.962 --> 00:09:18.350
And you're only paying them so much.

00:09:19.062 --> 00:09:21.256
How do you think they're getting this money, king?

00:09:21.256 --> 00:09:21.479
Goes.

00:09:21.479 --> 00:09:21.639
Well.

00:09:21.639 --> 00:09:22.841
How do you think they're getting it?

00:09:22.841 --> 00:09:23.903
They're stealing it, King.

00:09:23.903 --> 00:09:24.966
They're stealing it from you.

00:09:24.966 --> 00:09:27.529
Well, you know that wouldn't go very well.

00:09:27.529 --> 00:09:29.835
They don't want that.

00:09:29.835 --> 00:09:37.485
They want all three of the governors to be working together to hide their theft from the king so that everybody down from it.

00:09:37.485 --> 00:09:48.342
Folks, you realize that in the kingdom of the enemy, all government structure, all political structure, all business structure is a pyramid-based thing.

00:09:48.342 --> 00:09:50.967
That's why they call it a pyramid scheme.

00:09:50.967 --> 00:09:58.850
The guy at the top gets very rich and the riches get distributed, going down and then toward the bottom.

00:09:58.850 --> 00:10:01.864
Nobody's rich, but they all think they're going to be rich.

00:10:01.864 --> 00:10:03.067
Amen.

00:10:03.067 --> 00:10:07.668
It's called a pyramid scheme for a reason, because it's how things are done.

00:10:07.668 --> 00:10:11.830
Glory to God, hallelujah.

00:10:12.580 --> 00:10:16.692
Problem was that they couldn't find a charge against Daniel.

00:10:16.692 --> 00:10:18.927
They couldn't make any accusation.

00:10:18.927 --> 00:10:20.385
They couldn't say well, he took a bribe.

00:10:20.385 --> 00:10:21.842
They couldn't say this.

00:10:21.842 --> 00:10:24.062
They couldn't say this, they couldn't say that.

00:10:24.062 --> 00:10:28.241
In other words, they couldn't find a charge against him.

00:10:28.241 --> 00:10:31.807
That was currently on the books.

00:10:31.807 --> 00:10:38.096
So all of the laws of the Medes and the Persians.

00:10:38.096 --> 00:10:43.331
They searched those laws and they couldn't find that Daniel had broken any laws.

00:10:43.331 --> 00:10:46.370
The Bible says it's because he was faithful.

00:10:46.370 --> 00:10:48.904
It says it right there in verse four.

00:10:48.904 --> 00:10:53.716
Nor was there any error or fault found in him.

00:10:53.716 --> 00:11:00.785
So not only could they not find any charge to level against him the man was blameless.

00:11:00.785 --> 00:11:03.269
Glory to God, hallelujah.

00:11:03.269 --> 00:11:03.548
Was blameless.

00:11:03.548 --> 00:11:04.409
Glory to God, hallelujah.

00:11:04.429 --> 00:11:18.908
So they got smart in verse five and they said this we shall not find any charge against this Daniel unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God.

00:11:18.908 --> 00:11:31.230
In other words, what they were saying is we can't find anything against him concerning the law of the Medes and the Persians, so we're going to have to find something in his law that we can use against him.

00:11:31.230 --> 00:11:36.889
But they searched and they thought, and they searched and they thought and they couldn't find anything.

00:11:36.889 --> 00:11:52.691
So then they go one step further, and the title of this, if you want a title, and the point of this attack, of this, if you want a title, and the point of this attack of the Antichrist attack against the people of God, is the deception of legal decrees.

00:11:52.691 --> 00:12:03.389
The deception of legal decrees or the deception of legality Now in our country.

00:12:03.389 --> 00:12:04.793
Oh, I better not say this.

00:12:04.793 --> 00:12:05.855
This is on a recording.

00:12:05.855 --> 00:12:07.201
Glory to God.

00:12:07.201 --> 00:12:08.865
I'm going to leave that alone.

00:12:08.865 --> 00:12:14.581
You can observe your own whatever you want.

00:12:14.581 --> 00:12:15.702
Praise God.

00:12:16.504 --> 00:12:37.195
So what they decided to do was they were going to write their own law, get the king to sign off on it and make Daniel break the law, because he would not break his loyalty to God.

00:12:37.195 --> 00:12:41.551
They knew this about Daniel, so they were going to use it against him.

00:12:41.551 --> 00:12:43.183
This is a good trick.

00:12:43.183 --> 00:12:46.701
It works, trust me.

00:12:46.701 --> 00:12:57.313
It works, amen, because if the enemy can get you to back off of your loyalty and your faithfulness to God, he has won.

00:12:57.313 --> 00:13:00.629
Doesn't matter how the outcome comes out.

00:13:00.629 --> 00:13:18.264
He has won Because, remember, the point of attack is always against the body of Christ, and so if he can get something in the body to be unfaithful that corrupts the body Amen it will corrupt other members, it will corrupt other things.

00:13:18.264 --> 00:13:19.869
That's what happened here.

00:13:21.110 --> 00:13:29.605
So verse 7 says all the governors of the kingdom, the administrators and the satraps, the counselors and advisors, all that.

00:13:29.605 --> 00:13:39.889
This is what they're telling the king that all the governors, all the kingdom administrators have consulted together to establish and that was a lie.

00:13:39.889 --> 00:13:41.592
They didn't do that.

00:13:41.592 --> 00:13:43.469
You know why it's a lie because they didn't consult with dan.

00:13:43.469 --> 00:13:45.580
You know why it's a lie Because they didn't consult with Daniel.

00:13:45.580 --> 00:13:52.221
Daniel would have told them something like this as soon as we're out done with this meeting, I'm going to the king.

00:13:52.221 --> 00:14:00.831
In fact, what you don't know is I have already sent my servant, so it's not going to do anything any good to kill me because I've already sent him.

00:14:00.831 --> 00:14:04.000
Not only was he an excellent spirit, but he was wise.

00:14:04.000 --> 00:14:07.100
Amen, he would have said something like that.

00:14:07.100 --> 00:14:08.481
He said so.

00:14:08.481 --> 00:14:10.981
I would suggest to you that you abandon this thought.

00:14:10.981 --> 00:14:17.004
But if you don't, just know this, that my God will deliver me.

00:14:17.004 --> 00:14:20.144
And my God knows where you live.

00:14:20.903 --> 00:14:29.038
And it does not go well with if you'll remember the soldiers that threw Shadrach, meshach and Abednego into the fire.

00:14:29.038 --> 00:14:29.807
You remember them.

00:14:29.807 --> 00:14:30.590
They died.

00:14:30.590 --> 00:14:31.794
Do you remember?

00:14:31.794 --> 00:14:33.100
You don't remember.

00:14:33.100 --> 00:14:34.224
You should remember.

00:14:34.224 --> 00:14:34.806
You were there.

00:14:34.806 --> 00:14:42.549
You heard their screams as they went into the fire, and then you were waiting to hear the Hebrew children scream out.

00:14:42.549 --> 00:14:49.895
But they weren't screaming and they were singing Glory to God, hallelujah.

00:14:49.895 --> 00:14:50.799
That would have happen.

00:14:51.020 --> 00:14:52.787
So they left Daniel out of the equation.

00:14:52.787 --> 00:14:55.953
So when they went to the king and told him what they had done.

00:14:55.953 --> 00:15:00.751
They lied to the king saying that we've all come to this decision.

00:15:00.751 --> 00:15:03.457
So they implied that Daniel was involved.

00:15:03.457 --> 00:15:19.269
But Daniel was not involved and they asked the king to establish a royal statute and make a firm decree that whoever petitions any god or any man for 30 days, except you, o king, shall be cast into the den of lions.

00:15:19.269 --> 00:15:23.926
So you know, this is the first time we've heard about this den of lions.

00:15:23.926 --> 00:15:27.514
But you know I'm thinking what do they got?

00:15:27.514 --> 00:15:35.865
They got this big hole and it's just got these ravenous lions in it, and that you know somebody messes up and they just go.

00:15:35.865 --> 00:15:42.066
You know they don't bother with, you know beheading them or hanging them, or you know they just throw them in the pit.

00:15:42.066 --> 00:15:43.187
Is that how it works?

00:15:43.187 --> 00:15:45.791
What do they do with the lions in the meantime?

00:15:45.791 --> 00:15:47.072
Or did we just have a steady?

00:15:47.072 --> 00:15:49.855
You know something happens every day.

00:15:49.855 --> 00:15:50.897
Throw another one in there.

00:15:50.897 --> 00:15:54.640
They look a bit hungry I don't know about.

00:15:54.640 --> 00:15:56.630
You ought to be glad you live today.

00:15:57.445 --> 00:16:05.677
So now, o king, verse 8, establish the decree, sign the writing, so it cannot be changed, according to the law of the Medes and the Persians.

00:16:05.677 --> 00:16:09.793
So once the king signed something, it was irrevocable.

00:16:09.793 --> 00:16:12.530
They couldn't change it, not even the king could change it.

00:16:12.530 --> 00:16:15.049
So King Darius signed the paper.

00:16:15.049 --> 00:16:16.634
Hallelujah.

00:16:16.634 --> 00:16:17.317
Now we come.

00:16:17.317 --> 00:16:18.346
Now.

00:16:18.346 --> 00:16:22.850
Finally, daniel catches wind of what's going on, starting in verse 10.

00:16:22.850 --> 00:16:28.311
And when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, look at what he did.

00:16:28.311 --> 00:16:29.769
He went home.

00:16:30.524 --> 00:16:43.875
Now, what Daniel does in the next few minutes is absolutely essential in understanding what our responsibility is when we see things like this around us happening.

00:16:43.875 --> 00:16:44.437
Now.

00:16:44.437 --> 00:17:18.737
If you're the least bit observant about and I'm not trying to preach this in terms of today's news, but if you are the least bit observant, you will see that this parallels what is going on in our country right now the use of the legal system and the set of legal decrees, if you will, against people to tyrannize them, falsely accuse them, falsely, imprison them.

00:17:18.737 --> 00:17:46.035
Amen, and this is not I'm just saying this not to get you all excited and all of this stuff, but the point of it is this is that it's happening now, which lets you know that Antichrist is still working, and still working in the same ways.

00:17:46.035 --> 00:17:47.999
It's important.

00:17:51.704 --> 00:17:52.426
Why do we study these things?

00:17:52.426 --> 00:17:53.249
Why is it important to do this?

00:17:53.249 --> 00:17:56.695
And the reason is is because some of the methodology doesn't change.

00:17:56.695 --> 00:17:59.087
It doesn't have to change.

00:17:59.087 --> 00:18:00.652
You know why it doesn't have to change?

00:18:00.652 --> 00:18:04.159
Because people don't read their Bibles.

00:18:04.159 --> 00:18:11.549
And if they're just totally agnostic and don't pay attention to the Bible, they don't study history.

00:18:11.549 --> 00:18:16.165
They would find out that things like this work.

00:18:16.165 --> 00:18:21.727
But since they don't do this and they, you know, they're like a goose that wakes up in a new day, every day.

00:18:21.727 --> 00:18:22.828
Amen.

00:18:22.828 --> 00:18:23.750
They just think.

00:18:23.871 --> 00:18:27.758
You know, oh well, let's go ahead and hang the king.

00:18:27.758 --> 00:18:33.075
You know Trump up some charge against him and hang the king.

00:18:33.075 --> 00:18:55.151
That's almost never a good idea, because my knowledge of history says that the king usually has an extensive family and if you don't get all of the family, sooner or later the guys that decided they were going to execute the king they fall out of favor.

00:18:55.151 --> 00:19:06.375
And here comes the king's son or the king's brother or the king's nephew or somebody like that, and all of a sudden these guys are getting arrested and they're going to the guillotine.

00:19:06.375 --> 00:19:09.708
And so it goes one after another, after another.

00:19:09.708 --> 00:19:12.675
But if you don't read history, you don't know these things.

00:19:12.675 --> 00:19:14.390
You think, okay, we can get away with this.

00:19:14.390 --> 00:19:17.200
No, you can't get away with it, glory to God.

00:19:17.782 --> 00:19:21.211
So when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home, just went home.

00:19:21.211 --> 00:19:24.866
Except when he got home he sealed his.

00:19:24.866 --> 00:19:27.132
What was about to happen to him?

00:19:27.132 --> 00:19:31.468
In his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem.

00:19:31.468 --> 00:19:38.431
In other words, he didn't go down in the basement and close the doors and the windows, said, well, god's going to understand.

00:19:38.431 --> 00:19:41.557
He went up to where they could see him.

00:19:41.557 --> 00:19:44.288
They had an unobstructed view.

00:19:44.288 --> 00:19:50.458
He threw open the windows and faced Jerusalem and just let it rip.

00:19:50.458 --> 00:19:53.885
Glory to God, hallelujah.

00:19:53.885 --> 00:19:56.730
You see, I didn't care.

00:19:57.571 --> 00:20:06.151
When they said, don't meet because of COVID, I said you're not going to close this down, you're not going to do it.

00:20:06.151 --> 00:20:06.672
I don't care.

00:20:06.672 --> 00:20:09.916
I don't care if all the big, what about all those big churches?

00:20:09.916 --> 00:20:10.498
They're closing it.

00:20:10.498 --> 00:20:10.758
I don't care.

00:20:10.758 --> 00:20:13.321
I don't care if all the big, what about all those big churches?

00:20:13.321 --> 00:20:14.022
They're closing down?

00:20:14.022 --> 00:20:15.224
I don't care what they do.

00:20:15.224 --> 00:20:18.884
I'm not.

00:20:18.884 --> 00:20:19.707
I'm going to open my windows.

00:20:19.707 --> 00:20:19.968
Glory to God.

00:20:19.968 --> 00:20:20.328
And you know what?

00:20:20.328 --> 00:20:26.608
I didn't pass out mask at the door and I didn't put little stickers on the seats so that y'all would be, you know, safe distance away from each other.

00:20:26.608 --> 00:20:29.756
You can do that anytime you want to.

00:20:29.756 --> 00:20:35.112
Glory to God, hallelujah, praise God.

00:20:35.112 --> 00:20:36.777
Are you hearing me?

00:20:36.777 --> 00:20:39.971
I still say no.

00:20:39.971 --> 00:20:49.914
I know that there were other churches, but I know for sure there were three churches that never closed and the other two were associated with me.

00:20:51.768 --> 00:20:55.317
I went down to Costa Rica for years.

00:20:55.317 --> 00:21:08.595
God gave me a message and it took years to go around to a bunch of churches I'm talking to dozens of churches preaching the same thing, dozens of churches preaching the same thing.

00:21:08.595 --> 00:21:20.631
There is coming a cloud, a scourge, a judgment, and they are going to want to close your churches.

00:21:20.631 --> 00:21:23.280
And I could show them one, two, three, four of examples where they were practicing, where they were ramping up.

00:21:23.280 --> 00:21:31.330
They had gone through this thing for a two or three year period where they were closing down churches because they weren't handicap accessible.

00:21:31.330 --> 00:21:33.998
Well, you're talking people who don't have any money.

00:21:33.998 --> 00:21:40.346
You're talking people who are basically meeting in huts, dilapidated buildings, but they were shutting them down anyway.

00:21:40.346 --> 00:21:46.775
I said if they can do that and get away with it, they will shut down the churches in Costa Rica.

00:21:46.775 --> 00:22:05.737
I said the only way you can get out of this is to start meeting in houses, start developing a cell network in your church so that in a heartbeat you can move out of the main building and have church exclusively in the.

00:22:05.737 --> 00:22:08.353
And you've got trained sub-pastors, you've got a network of how to handle the money.

00:22:08.353 --> 00:22:08.494
You've got trained sub-pastors.

00:22:08.494 --> 00:22:10.499
You've got a network of how to handle the money.

00:22:10.499 --> 00:22:17.875
You've got a network of how to get the messages out, and they don't have enough police to deal with that.

00:22:19.567 --> 00:22:24.817
I preached in front of the National Assembly of Pastors.

00:22:24.817 --> 00:22:28.316
I preached it in big churches and little churches, everywhere I went.

00:22:28.316 --> 00:22:31.068
I said I'm putting a trumpet.

00:22:31.068 --> 00:22:34.938
The Lord said put the trumpet to your mouth and shout the alarm.

00:22:34.938 --> 00:22:40.195
In Zion, there is a scourge coming and it's going to come to your church.

00:22:40.195 --> 00:22:48.836
It's going to come to your places of worship and if you're not ready, they will shut you down and you will not survive.

00:22:48.836 --> 00:22:50.660
What is about to happen?

00:22:50.660 --> 00:22:52.368
I did this for years.

00:22:53.151 --> 00:22:57.508
Not one paid attention, and you know what they told me.

00:22:57.508 --> 00:23:01.357
I said well, did you go to your cells?

00:23:01.357 --> 00:23:03.733
Because some of them had built cell networks.

00:23:03.733 --> 00:23:05.650
And I said did you go to your cells?

00:23:05.650 --> 00:23:08.366
Instead of meeting in the manger, did you go to your cells?

00:23:08.366 --> 00:23:11.453
Well, we can't do that because the neighbors will tell on us.

00:23:11.453 --> 00:23:17.535
Well, let them tell what's going to happen, what could possibly happen.

00:23:18.919 --> 00:23:19.641
They arrest you.

00:23:19.641 --> 00:23:23.369
Well, you're already arrested if you don't have a church open.

00:23:23.369 --> 00:23:28.161
You're arrested in your ability to minister to people to preach the word of God.

00:23:28.161 --> 00:23:28.926
I said you're already you're under house arrest.

00:23:28.926 --> 00:23:29.375
You're arrested in your ability to minister to people, to preach the word of God.

00:23:29.375 --> 00:23:31.106
I said you're already you're under house arrest.

00:23:31.106 --> 00:23:36.749
You might as well be under arrest and then lodge a protest.

00:23:36.749 --> 00:23:39.113
Glory to God.

00:23:39.894 --> 00:23:44.630
The spirit of the Lord knew what was happening and the spirit of the Lord's tactic in the faith, listen, listen to me very carefully.

00:23:44.630 --> 00:23:46.837
The spirit of the Lord's tactic in the faith, listen, listen to me very carefully.

00:23:46.837 --> 00:23:56.799
The spirit of the Lord's tactic in the face of these kinds of attacks is to throw open the windows and praise your God openly.

00:23:56.799 --> 00:24:06.574
So when they you know, when they start to give you a hard time about that, you can't say, mary, anything except uh, what is that foolish thing?

00:24:06.574 --> 00:24:09.019
That Kwanzaa or something like that, I don't know.

00:24:09.019 --> 00:24:14.233
You can't say marry, nothing, just shout it out Wish everybody, wish the dogs, merry Christmas.

00:24:14.233 --> 00:24:18.876
You know, make sure you give five bucks to the people with the buckets outside the thing.

00:24:19.224 --> 00:24:22.670
Just bless God, hallelujah, let me pray for you, you know.

00:24:22.670 --> 00:24:25.017
And just make a nuisance out of yourself.

00:24:25.017 --> 00:24:26.770
Just let it rip.

00:24:26.770 --> 00:24:34.048
There's no buts about it If you want to shut the mouth of the lion.

00:24:34.048 --> 00:24:34.690
Amen, I said.

00:24:34.690 --> 00:24:41.190
If you want to shut the mouth of the lion, the power is in your mouth, the power.

00:24:42.172 --> 00:24:47.622
Daniel won this battle not because the angel came down and saved him from the lion.

00:24:47.622 --> 00:24:53.211
He won this battle because he praised his god when it was against the law to do it.

00:24:53.211 --> 00:24:53.993
Amen.

00:24:53.993 --> 00:25:00.353
And that released the angel to come down from heaven and shut the mouth of the lion.

00:25:00.353 --> 00:25:03.441
Glory, hallelujah.

00:25:03.441 --> 00:25:06.328
You know, daniel could have retreated to his basement.

00:25:06.990 --> 00:25:08.976
Well, lord Lord, behold their threats.

00:25:08.976 --> 00:25:23.788
I'm just going to, I'm just going to hunker down, I'm going to wait until this great tribulation is over, and then I'm going to come out slightly victorious, a little bit worse for wear, but I'm going to make it.

00:25:23.788 --> 00:25:29.058
Bless God, that's such a foolish nonsense I can't even stomach it.

00:25:29.058 --> 00:25:36.455
Don't you know that they told Paul and Silas to be quiet when they were down in the bottom of the prison in stocks?

00:25:36.455 --> 00:25:38.349
Do you think they did it?

00:25:38.349 --> 00:25:39.489
My Bible says no.

00:25:39.489 --> 00:25:41.074
They didn't hear that instruction.

00:25:41.074 --> 00:25:52.032
They were praising God about midnight and all of the prisoners were listening, and it wasn't because they had a boom box and they could play out the top 40 Christian songs.

00:25:52.032 --> 00:26:02.135
It was because they were singing under such a powerful anointing that men were convicted of their sins, convicted of their ways.

00:26:02.135 --> 00:26:09.178
Hallelujah Wanted to draw near to this God that they obviously knew because they were talking to him.

00:26:11.147 --> 00:26:12.590
He knelt down on his knees.

00:26:12.590 --> 00:26:20.673
Now listen, it'd be one thing to go up to your window and do this once a day and just say, okay, god, that's it for the week.

00:26:20.673 --> 00:26:24.869
I'll see you next week, when I don't see anybody else around Three times a day.

00:26:24.869 --> 00:26:31.009
He got up and did that and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.

00:26:31.009 --> 00:26:33.837
Now here's the thing you need to understand.

00:26:34.605 --> 00:26:38.913
We're talking about a deception that comes by way of legal decrees.

00:26:38.913 --> 00:26:47.438
There was one person in the kingdom that was not deceived, and that was Daniel, because he had an excellent spirit.

00:26:47.438 --> 00:26:48.661
And that was Daniel because he had an excellent spirit.

00:26:48.661 --> 00:26:49.782
The king was deceived.

00:26:49.782 --> 00:26:54.662
He was deceived by his governors.

00:26:54.662 --> 00:26:57.638
The satraps and the governors were deceived because they thought they could get away with it.

00:26:57.638 --> 00:27:01.875
They thought this God that Daniel served was just like their gods.

00:27:01.875 --> 00:27:06.152
You know, they couldn't hear, they couldn't see, they couldn't walk, they couldn't touch.

00:27:06.152 --> 00:27:07.832
They didn't have any respect for Daniel's God.

00:27:07.832 --> 00:27:09.584
They didn't have any respect for Daniel's God.

00:27:09.584 --> 00:27:13.310
They didn't have any respect for Daniel, but they were deceived.

00:27:13.310 --> 00:27:18.135
So they you know they were, but they were doing what they were going to do.

00:27:18.135 --> 00:27:21.736
They gathered around Daniel's house and they found him praying.

00:27:22.506 --> 00:27:24.153
That's what they need to find you doing.

00:27:24.153 --> 00:27:30.357
They need to find you doing what is your custom to do before God.

00:27:30.357 --> 00:27:33.189
Whatever he says to you, do it.

00:27:33.189 --> 00:27:37.155
You know, whatever he's taught you, do it.

00:27:37.155 --> 00:27:40.868
Whatever he's shown you to do, do it.

00:27:41.730 --> 00:27:43.737
If you don't see, this is written.

00:27:43.737 --> 00:27:44.157
What is it?

00:27:44.157 --> 00:27:45.079
Why is this written?

00:27:45.079 --> 00:27:51.635
This is written as an example for us, upon whom the end of the ages have come, amen.

00:27:51.635 --> 00:27:52.897
So why is it here?

00:27:52.897 --> 00:27:54.689
It's here so you know what to do.

00:27:54.689 --> 00:27:57.616
Praise God, hallelujah.

00:27:58.765 --> 00:28:09.996
The reason, as it is written not in the Bible, but it's written in other places, the reason that evil succeeds is because good men do nothing.

00:28:09.996 --> 00:28:24.694
But when good men do what they are taught by God to do Amen Evil has a hard time accomplishing what it wants to do because God gets involved.

00:28:24.694 --> 00:28:27.164
And so they, they, they ran.

00:28:27.164 --> 00:28:33.762
Verse 12 says they ran away and they went before the king and spoke concerning the king's decree, and so they held.

00:28:34.523 --> 00:28:38.192
Now, remember, the king can't even break the law.

00:28:38.192 --> 00:28:39.936
The king can't even break the law.

00:28:39.936 --> 00:28:41.941
So the king?

00:28:41.941 --> 00:28:50.147
They said king, didn't you write this decree that if any man petitions a god or a man for 30 days and not you, that they'll be cast into the den of lions?

00:28:50.147 --> 00:28:51.703
Remember that king?

00:28:51.703 --> 00:29:00.884
You wrote that yeah, yeah, okay, yeah, I remember that it's true and according to the law of the Medes and Persians, it can't be changed.

00:29:00.884 --> 00:29:06.107
So they said, aha, now we've got it Because the king has written it.

00:29:06.107 --> 00:29:08.508
The king said it can't be changed.

00:29:08.508 --> 00:29:12.250
And now he's swearing to it that it can't be changed.

00:29:14.289 --> 00:29:32.623
Now listen, they said before the king that Daniel, who is one of the captives from Judah, does not show due respect or regard for you, o king, that Daniel, who is one of the captives from Judah, does not show due respect or regard for you, o king, or for the decree that you have signed, but he goes right ahead and makes his petition three times a day.

00:29:32.623 --> 00:29:39.814
I want you to notice that they did not even bother to honor Daniel as one of the governors.

00:29:39.814 --> 00:29:47.807
They didn't even bother to acknowledge him as one of the preeminent governors.

00:29:47.807 --> 00:29:52.434
They just said that imported guy from Judah.

00:29:52.434 --> 00:29:55.703
You can just hear them snarling.

00:29:55.703 --> 00:29:57.727
You know when.

00:29:57.727 --> 00:29:58.307
They said it?

00:29:58.307 --> 00:30:02.654
Because they didn't honor him for who he was in the kingdom.

00:30:02.654 --> 00:30:06.469
They dishonored him for who he was in God.

00:30:06.469 --> 00:30:08.011
Are you hearing me?

00:30:08.011 --> 00:30:14.404
There have been numerous people that have been imprisoned.

00:30:14.404 --> 00:30:35.415
They have been falsely charged, they have been killed, but not one time was their service, their prior service, to this community or to this country, held up in any way of esteem.

00:30:35.415 --> 00:30:38.167
They didn't regard Daniel for who he was.

00:30:38.167 --> 00:30:42.029
They disregarded him for who he was in God.

00:30:42.861 --> 00:30:47.630
Now I want you to notice here what happens when the king hears this.

00:30:47.630 --> 00:30:58.986
He may have under, he may have made the law and he may have understood the severity of it, but when he heard these words, verse 14 says he was greatly displeased with himself.

00:30:58.986 --> 00:31:03.654
In other words, he was not very happy that he had signed that law.

00:31:03.654 --> 00:31:07.070
And he was not very happy because he knew exactly what had happened.

00:31:07.070 --> 00:31:13.309
These guys had set him up, he knew it and they knew that.

00:31:13.309 --> 00:31:13.951
He knew it.

00:31:13.951 --> 00:31:18.971
He knew that they had tricked him into writing this law.

00:31:18.971 --> 00:31:29.285
They had made his number one man the fall guy in this, and he was not happy with himself and we would find out.

00:31:29.285 --> 00:31:30.849
He wasn't too happy with them either.

00:31:30.849 --> 00:31:39.811
And he set his heart on how to deliver Daniel and he labored until the going down of the sun to deliver him.

00:31:40.500 --> 00:31:48.009
And so here comes the men again, they see that the king is faltering and they said now, king, what about that law?

00:31:48.009 --> 00:31:50.688
What about that law you signed?

00:31:50.688 --> 00:31:55.980
What about the custom of the Medes and the Persians that when you sign a law it can't be changed?

00:31:55.980 --> 00:32:01.691
When are you going to throw this Daniel into the lion's den?

00:32:01.691 --> 00:32:06.345
Come on, king, you signed it, you can't change it.

00:32:06.345 --> 00:32:10.393
They're pressuring the king by his own laws.

00:32:10.993 --> 00:32:25.583
Hallelujah, this deception by legal decree works its way even up to the highest levels, where judges are corrupted, legislatures are corrupted.

00:32:25.583 --> 00:32:31.513
I can give you a case in point I'll do it after of how this works.

00:32:31.513 --> 00:32:47.163
Praise God, this kind of corruption will work its way all the way up until listen, until the day of truth is exposed and you can see how widespread the corruption is.

00:32:47.163 --> 00:32:53.260
When they shut the door in a universal way around all of that truth and don't let it out.

00:32:53.260 --> 00:32:55.083
You want me to say that again.

00:32:55.083 --> 00:33:06.328
When corruption and deception by legal decree works its way through a culture and through a nation, it'll work its way all the way up.

00:33:06.328 --> 00:33:22.534
In this case, it worked its way all the way up to the king, so that when truth is exposed, when Daniel goes to the window and prays, that web of deception closes around him and nobody's allowed to see what is real.

00:33:23.339 --> 00:33:37.013
So here's these guys, and they're even coming to the king and say, hey, king lion's den, king lion's den, daniel lion's den, daniel lion's den, daniel lion's den.

00:33:37.013 --> 00:33:38.905
You can't change it.

00:33:38.905 --> 00:33:52.800
Praise God, hallelujah and glory to Jesus, praise the Lord.

00:33:52.800 --> 00:33:54.826
So the king gave the command and they brought Daniel and cast him into the den of lions.

00:33:54.826 --> 00:33:58.582
And the king spoke, saying to Daniel your God, whom you serve continually, he will deliver you.

00:33:58.582 --> 00:34:01.145
Oh, that's nice, king, thank you.

00:34:01.145 --> 00:34:03.510
I appreciate that, glory to God.

00:34:03.510 --> 00:34:04.853
I know that.

00:34:04.853 --> 00:34:05.693
God knows that.

00:34:05.693 --> 00:34:09.067
I'm glad you know that, but why are you throwing me in this lion's den?

00:34:09.067 --> 00:34:09.849
You're the king.

00:34:09.849 --> 00:34:21.612
So they rolled the stone over the mouth of the den and the king sealed it with his own signet rings and then he made the governors get their rings out and participate.

00:34:21.612 --> 00:34:24.849
You're not going to hang this on me, glory to God.

00:34:24.849 --> 00:34:32.585
So everybody had to put their ring on it so that the purpose concerning Daniel could not be changed.

00:34:32.585 --> 00:34:40.335
Huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, praise God.

00:34:46.059 --> 00:34:46.862
Now the king did a good thing.

00:34:46.862 --> 00:34:47.943
King went to his palace and spent the night fasting.

00:34:47.943 --> 00:34:58.009
No musicians were brought to him, no sleep came upon him and very early in the morning the king arose and went in haste to the den of the lions.

00:34:58.009 --> 00:35:00.443
When he came to the den, he cried.

00:35:00.443 --> 00:35:01.762
The den he cried, the Bible says.

00:35:01.762 --> 00:35:16.987
He cried out with a lamenting voice, a sorrowful voice, to Daniel and he said Daniel, servant of the living God, has your king, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?

00:35:16.987 --> 00:35:21.402
Oh we thank God, hallelujah, praise God.

00:35:22.105 --> 00:35:23.288
See, this is a story.

00:35:23.288 --> 00:35:25.782
This is like David and Goliath.

00:35:25.782 --> 00:35:31.414
I mean, everybody knows this story, whether you've ever been to church or not.

00:35:31.414 --> 00:35:37.672
I mean, you know the expressions about getting thrown to the lions, thrown in the lion's den.

00:35:37.672 --> 00:35:39.364
You know there's all that kind of stuff.

00:35:39.364 --> 00:35:52.510
But you don't know, nobody knows all the things that are going on around it which make this such a rich story and which teaches us so much about how God works in these situations.

00:35:52.510 --> 00:36:07.009
These things are written as an example for us, not as a Sunday school story, not as a flannelgram story, not, as you know, not as just a little nursery story for kids to be amused by.

00:36:07.009 --> 00:36:09.313
This is for our example.

00:36:09.313 --> 00:36:11.760
O king, live forever.

00:36:11.900 --> 00:36:27.681
Daniel says my God sent his angel and shut the lion's mouth so that they have not hurt me because I was found innocent before him.

00:36:27.681 --> 00:36:29.525
Now see here's the deal.

00:36:29.525 --> 00:36:53.815
If you were in Daniel's shoes and you were trusting in your exalted position to get you out of this situation, there must be at least 500 people or more right now that are in jail or under sentence because they trusted in something other than their God.

00:36:53.815 --> 00:37:00.262
Daniel trusted in his God and an angel shows up.

00:37:00.262 --> 00:37:10.431
But let me tell you you remember when Daniel started praying and three weeks later the archangel Michael shows up, said he was restrained by the power of the prince of Persia.

00:37:10.431 --> 00:37:11.030
Remember that.

00:37:11.030 --> 00:37:14.733
That's down a few chapters away from here.

00:37:14.733 --> 00:37:31.148
The point of that story was that when Michael showed up, he said your prayers were heard on the very first day and I was sent on the very first day, but I was withstood.

00:37:31.148 --> 00:37:32.152
You remember that that was exactly what he said.

00:37:32.152 --> 00:37:33.014
I was sent on the very first day.

00:37:33.014 --> 00:37:33.735
Hallelujah, praise God.

00:37:33.735 --> 00:37:34.898
That angel was sent.

00:37:34.898 --> 00:37:44.826
The very first day that Daniel bowed his knees before God opened those windows, got down on his knees and started to pray.

00:37:44.826 --> 00:37:51.585
On the very first day that angel was sent and had been sitting in that den.

00:37:51.847 --> 00:38:05.715
Glory to God, that angel didn't show up when, when Daniel was about halfway down the chute of the's den, that angel was down there already tying up the mouths of the lions.

00:38:05.715 --> 00:38:10.170
Oh, my God, daniel's on the edge.

00:38:10.170 --> 00:38:12.045
Nobody can see it, but Daniel.

00:38:12.045 --> 00:38:12.969
Daniel's looking down there.

00:38:12.969 --> 00:38:14.945
The angel's looking up at him and he's tying those.

00:38:14.945 --> 00:38:17.931
Come on, daniel, it's all right, don't be afraid.

00:38:17.931 --> 00:38:21.768
I've even got feather beds down here to catch you when you fall.

00:38:21.768 --> 00:38:25.063
Glory to God, I pull them out of my wing.

00:38:25.063 --> 00:38:27.751
Are you hearing anything I'm talking about?

00:38:27.751 --> 00:38:33.713
You know, don't believe the stories the way, the way that unspiritual people understand them.

00:38:33.713 --> 00:38:41.452
That angel was down there, glory to God, long time before Daniel got to the edge of that.

00:38:41.452 --> 00:38:48.139
Not only was he down there shutting the mouth of the lions, we was down there to catch him so he wouldn't be hurt in the fall.

00:38:48.280 --> 00:38:53.195
My God, how you can trust God to take care of every detail?

00:38:53.195 --> 00:38:54.860
I said every detail.

00:38:54.860 --> 00:39:01.831
And just because you don't see it happening on the first day, you, you're praying.

00:39:01.831 --> 00:39:03.094
Just know this.

00:39:03.094 --> 00:39:05.043
It happened for Daniel.

00:39:05.043 --> 00:39:06.907
It happened for him a couple of times.

00:39:06.907 --> 00:39:14.565
Glory to God, hallelujah, praise the name of Jesus because, oh, king, I have done.

00:39:14.565 --> 00:39:20.052
No, I was found innocent before him and also, oh king, I've done no wrong before you.

00:39:20.052 --> 00:39:29.983
And now the king was exceedingly glad for him and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den.

00:39:29.983 --> 00:39:39.367
And so Daniel was taken up out of the den and no injury whatsoever was found on him, not one scratch.

00:39:39.367 --> 00:39:40.342
Why?

00:39:40.342 --> 00:39:44.389
Because he believed in his God.

00:39:44.389 --> 00:39:46.434
Now we know this.

00:39:46.434 --> 00:39:48.344
The Bible is full of this.

00:39:49.065 --> 00:39:51.911
But faith requires action.

00:39:51.911 --> 00:39:53.916
Faith requires action.

00:39:53.916 --> 00:39:57.824
Faith without works, james says, is dead.

00:39:57.824 --> 00:39:59.947
Faith requires action.

00:39:59.947 --> 00:40:12.577
Faith requires action so that more faith can be sent or, more specifically, so that grace can be sent to do what you're believing.

00:40:12.577 --> 00:40:35.634
So if you believe God and you start to act on it, grace comes so that you can act more and put you in a position to hear more, so that faith can come, and then grace comes, and then hearing comes, and then and this is how it works, and it has to work that way, because that's how God set it up and Daniel believed his God.

00:40:35.634 --> 00:40:38.487
Hallelujah, praise the Lord.

00:40:39.250 --> 00:40:51.358
You can read for yourself what what Darius wrote about his commandment concerning and we'll talk about this probably the next time a little bit, there's not enough time today, but I do want to say this.

00:40:51.358 --> 00:41:17.376
And the king gave the command verse 24 and they brought those men who had accused Daniel and they cast them into the lion's den them, their children and their wives, and the lions overpowered them and broke all their bones in pieces before they ever came to the bottom of the den.

00:41:17.376 --> 00:41:20.621
Now I want you to know this, you go.

00:41:20.621 --> 00:41:23.168
Well, that was kind of drastic.

00:41:23.168 --> 00:41:27.969
Well, all I can tell you is those women married the wrong people.

00:41:27.969 --> 00:41:42.746
Hey, they liked all the trinkets that they brought home, they liked living in the palaces, they liked having lordship over the people that they were robbing from, they liked all of those things.

00:41:42.746 --> 00:41:44.746
Don't think they were innocent.

00:41:44.746 --> 00:41:49.246
And the kids were, you know, because of their positions, were bullying other kids.

00:41:49.246 --> 00:41:50.744
You know how this works.

00:41:52.641 --> 00:42:00.672
But the point of all of this is this there is a price to pay for touching God's anointed.

00:42:00.672 --> 00:42:11.989
You better be careful when you touch the anointed of God, because there is a price to pay and it is God who is going to extract that price.

00:42:11.989 --> 00:42:21.164
If you think that God's not watching, you better think again, because he is watching and he keeps track.

00:42:21.164 --> 00:42:22.489
I've had people.

00:42:22.489 --> 00:42:26.489
I've had people do things to me and I never thought anything of it.

00:42:27.331 --> 00:42:31.597
I didn't, you know, I didn't go to God and say I want you to strike them down, god you know.

00:42:31.597 --> 00:42:34.603
And I didn't, I didn't do that, I just thought, you know.

00:42:34.603 --> 00:42:39.492
Well, you probably ought not do that, but you know, I'll leave that up to the Lord.

00:42:39.492 --> 00:42:40.994
And the Lord was watching.

00:42:40.994 --> 00:42:44.021
I said the Lord was watching.

00:42:44.021 --> 00:42:45.543
The Lord says vengeance is mine.

00:42:45.543 --> 00:42:48.730
Sayeth the Lord, I will repay Glory to God.

00:42:48.730 --> 00:42:50.934
You better know this.

00:42:50.934 --> 00:42:54.581
You may not think he's watching, but he's watching.

00:42:54.601 --> 00:43:04.014
And it is a righteous thing for God to recompense with tribulation those that cause you trouble.

00:43:04.014 --> 00:43:05.956
It's a righteous.

00:43:05.956 --> 00:43:07.623
That's what it says in 2 Thessalonians.

00:43:07.623 --> 00:43:10.148
It's a righteous thing with God.

00:43:10.148 --> 00:43:11.672
He's got to do it.

00:43:11.672 --> 00:43:15.425
It's part of his character, oh hallelujah.

00:43:16.128 --> 00:43:25.514
So if you know that about God, you're much better off if you obey him and let him figure out how to sort the consequences of your, of your obedience.

00:43:25.514 --> 00:43:29.891
If there's going to be consequences for your obedience, let him sort it out.

00:43:29.891 --> 00:43:36.402
What's the worst, what's the best thing that can happen for you out of all that God takes you home?

00:43:36.402 --> 00:43:37.967
He could have.

00:43:37.967 --> 00:43:38.570
He could have.

00:43:38.570 --> 00:43:46.646
He could have just had a little private rapture for Daniel right there, right when that lion's going to go.

00:43:46.646 --> 00:43:49.032
And all of a sudden he's not there.

00:43:49.032 --> 00:43:53.648
He bites off his tongue trying to get at him, but all of a sudden he's not.

00:43:53.648 --> 00:43:54.489
He could have done that.

00:43:54.489 --> 00:43:57.335
Oh yes, he could, praise God.

00:43:57.335 --> 00:43:59.382
It's better to trust your God.

00:43:59.382 --> 00:44:02.992
Believe your God, hallelujah, praise God.

00:44:02.992 --> 00:44:04.677
It's better to trust your God.

00:44:04.677 --> 00:44:06.000
Believe your God, hallelujah, praise God.

00:44:06.000 --> 00:44:08.722
He's watching.

00:44:08.742 --> 00:44:11.231
If you think all of this is catching him by surprise, you need to read the book of Daniel again.

00:44:11.231 --> 00:44:11.932
It's not catching him by surprise.

00:44:11.932 --> 00:44:20.150
You could take the front pages of the newspaper and all the internet stuff and paste it right in the chapter here and you'd have almost the exactly same story.

00:44:20.150 --> 00:44:21.554
Why is that?

00:44:21.554 --> 00:44:25.686
Because you know history repeats itself.

00:44:25.686 --> 00:44:29.869
Because the people that it's repeating itself upon don't learn from history.

00:44:29.869 --> 00:44:32.681
Praise the Lord, let's stand.
