We've been looking at instances in the life of Daniel, because the Bible says that Daniel had an excellent spirit and the Lord wants us to see how this excellent spirit manifested itself when the tribe of Judah was taken captive by the Babylonian nation.

Not the whole tribe of Judah, but a significant part of it was taken into captivity for 70 years while to fulfill the 490 years that the children of Israel had not observed the Sabbath year.

We've talked about that, but Daniel had exceptional miracles happen to him while he was serving the kings of Babylon during the time that he was there, the 70 years that he was there.

Have been that he went back, I don't know, but at any rate, during his lifetime Daniel saw exceptional miracles and several of them had to do with dreams and visions, some of which were given to the kings, and I thought that was an interesting thing that happened, and it also happened when Joseph was in Egypt that the dreams were given to the kings and then somebody had to interpret them for the kings and that ended up being a stepping stone for that person to have a position of power.

So this story in chapter 4 has to do with a dream that Nebuchadnezzar was given, and it was a dream concerning something that was going to happen to him, and that thing that was going to happen to him was that he was going to be driven out, basically into the wilderness, and be like a wild person, a crazy person.
